The Unnecessary Mark

Levi's POV

Only a few people have asked about the bite mark on my neck. I explained how I had gotten in a fight with another Alpha where they had accidentally bit me. It was enough to deter people from asking more questions about it. But I've been having this feeling that my roommates are starting to suspect that there is more to (y/n) and I's relationship. First of all I had never brought another girl into my room let alone gone to a girls room. I usually spent most of my time with my brothers or studying alone. But I feel sad when I'm away from her. We always study together so it's not like the relationship has taken over my life. We both are earning top grades in our classes. Additionally I have stopped taking my suppressants for her so now everyone can smell my pheromones. Just this morning though as it was the last day of (y/n)'s heat, when I came back from being with her all morning, Erwin happened to be awake very early.

It was now about 7:30 am on a Saturday and I had been with (y/N) since about 2:30 when her heat kicked up. I don't mind being awoken that early by a call especially since I was already awake, insomnia, and it was her. After her heat calmed back down and she fell back asleep, I climbed out of her bed to go back to my room and shower and wash my clothes to get rid of her omega smell. I walked into my apartment only to see Erwin sitting on the couch in his pajamas. 

"Why are you up so early?" I ask nervously as neither of them wake up before 10 on the weekends.

"I don't know really just couldn't sleep I guess." I nod at his comment and quickly make for my room when I was stopped.

"You better shower quick and wash those clothes because (y/n)'s omega scent is all over you." He says nonchalantly. I froze.

"H-how did you know?" 

"I'm smarter than I look. I put all the pieces together. You stopped taking your suppressants,  you have a girlfriend in which you spend all your time with, every time after you hang out with her you shower but there was always a faint smell lingering. These were all theories of course until you just walked in from their apartment smelling like an omega in heat. You can probably keep this a secret from the other two for a wile longer but I don't know if you should. I mean you have found your mate after all and you are letting her go around unmarked. Even if she is hiding as a beta it still leaves her up to be fair game." I was shocked at what he said. He seemed very understanding and cool with it and I knew he wouldn't twll anyone and that he would leave it up to me.

"Thanks Erwin for the insight I'll keep what you've said in mind moving on" he nods to me as I make my way to the shower. I thought about what he said about letting her go unmarked and he was right it was dangerous for her. Without my Alpha mark people will constantly try and make moves on her with her omega qualities. I just have to convince her to allow me to do it. Maybe she is ready? Especially with how hard it's been to keep it a secret. Maybe if I tell her Erwin knows she will realize that people will find out especially since when I'm around her I trigger her heats to come and she triggers me.
