AHAD'S POV
I brought her to mine and Mumma's favorite place. The hillside. I parked the car and opened the door for Zoya to come out."Woow! So beautiful mashallah!" She said and I smiled. She went forward and looked at the amazing view.
We sat on the grass and she sat next to me. I wrapped my hand around her shoulder and she rested her head on my chest. "This is my Mumma and my favorite place! Whenever we wanted our time together we would always come here." I said and she looked at me.
"When I found out we were going to be parents the first thing I did was to come here and express my happiness to my mother" I continued. She listened to me attentively drawing patterns on my chest.
"I was fourteen years old when mumma passed away. She was pregnant. I was the closest to Mumma and Saima di always felt bad that I was closer to Mumma than the rest. But mumma loved all of us equally." I said lost in my own world while Zoya listened to me.
"Mumma always told me "Ahad always take care of your siblings never leave them alone" though I was second Saima di always respected me as her older brother. Mumma was pregnant with Ahna when she passed away. She saved Ahna rather than her self.
Mumma was running behind me trying to feed me. Though I was old enough she always loved to treat me as her baby. I was running down the stairs and Mumma also ran behind me. She ran a little slow but still ran and fell down the stairs" I said with tears rolling down my cheeks.
Zoya hugged me and said comforting words.
"She shouted AHAD and that was it. We had to rush her to the hospital and dad didn't even let me come close to her. I didn't get a chance to see my mom Zoya. She was dieing and he didn't let me see her. I cried to see her. I screamed and screamed and finally got to see her. By that time she had already delivered Ahna but was very weak. I went to her and hugged her tightly. I didn't want to lose her.
She ran her fingers through my hair for the last time and said "Ahad beta, this world is very cruel, the people are very cruel please take care of your little sister and love your siblings a lot. Mama loves you so much my son. Always look up in the skies and you will find me amongst those stars" and that was it she closed her eyes forever and never opened it again.
I screamed and screamed. I looked at my little sister and held her. "Mama I promise to take care of your Ahna" I held Ahna in my arms and placed mama's hands on both of us.
My dad came in, he snatched Ahna from me and gave her to Saima Di. He slapped me and cursed me. Zoya he blamed me for my mothers death.
Mumma's funeral was done and we came home after a few days. One day dad brought his mistress home and it boiled me. I got angry as to how my dad can replace someone with my mother only a few days after her death. For the first time in my life I shouted at my dad and called his woman a mistress. He slapped me and locked me into a dark room for several days.
He didn't give any food nor water. I cried hearing the cries of Ahna but I knew she was in safe hands with my sisters. I bared all the pain my self. I never let pain touch my siblings. I always took their part of pain onto me.
One day I was tired of his tortures and women. He brought different women to our house everyday and would make my siblings and I work for them. I made a plan to escape with my siblings and that is when I met your Dadi. She welcomed five of us and took care of us.
From the day she brought us to her house I stared to work hard. I worked day and night to provide for my family. People taunted me and disgraced me but I still made my way through.
Years after I become successful and look, today I'm one of the country's top successful business men and was entitled with the title The Ahad Khan" I narrated my story. She wiped my tears and hugged me tightly. She kissed my forehead and sat on my lap.
