TWO MONTHS LATER
There wasn't a day in which Zoya didn't cry for her baby. She was lost in this big house. She talked less, didn't eat much and liked to stay alone.Ahad was observing her actions, but she wasn't listening to him. She was hurt and it would take some time for her to heal.
Ahad's heart clenched to see his wife in this state. He missed her smile, her charming personality, her everything he missed. He wished he could bring back the old days.
He was Also hurt. He also cried for his baby. But he had to be strong for his family. He had to take care of everyone especially his wife who is very weak.
Zoya had become thin and pale and he wasn't likening it at all. His family was a big support to him. Whenever Zoya saw Qasim she would always hug him and cry. The most she only talked to was the kids.
The kids tried to bring back that charming smile on their Mami's face. They did succeed many times but it oftened lasted only for a little while. Zoya helped do everything. But when she finished her work she locked herself in the room blaming herself.
She cried on her carelessness. She considered herself to be a bad mother but that wasn't true.
Ahad tried to find the person who hit her. According to the police this was something planned and done intentionally. Ahad was stressed because Zoya had no enemies here. He daily prayed that it wasn't one of his enemies because then he would do bad to them.
Ahad's father was currently living with them on the demand of Zoya. She didn't know that the old man who tried to save her was her father in law.
Shaheen, Saima, Ahna and Shoaib tried their best to keep their bhabhi more like mother happy. She would talk to them but her answers would only be in Yes or No.
Ahad was tired of Zoya's silent behavior and decided to confront her tonight.
AHAD'S POV
I took a plate of food and entered the room Zoya was in. She didn't sleep with me but slept in another room. She once told me to get married again as she cannot provide us with a child. I got angry and lashed out at her.She was sitting by the Windows looking outside. I went next to her and sat. She looked at me and then looked away.
I put the plate at the side and engulfed her into a tight hug. She just stared at me blankly. "Why don't you get ma...married again?" She stuttered.
I looked at her with anger and tried to calm myself but nothing was working. Again she brought up this topic. "You want me get married? You don't love me anymore? Fine I'll get married again. I'll leave you then will you be happy?" I shouted and she flinched at my harsh voice.
How could she think that I would stop loveing her just because we can't have a baby. The doctor said there is a little chance then why is she losing hope.
She turned away from me and rested her head on the wall. I took some food and forwarded it to her mouth. She shook her head saying she doesn't want anything. I stared at her angrily and she quietly ate.
After I finished feeding her I went to wash my hands and put away the plate. When I came back she was still in that same position. Lost in her own world.
I went near her and leaned against the wall. "Even I'm hurt! Everyone around us is hurt! But that doesn't mean we stop living! Why are you behaving like this? I understand you are hurt but you are also forgetting everyone around you" I stated and tears flowed from her eyes. I pulled her towards me and held her waist. She looked into my eyes and I wiped her tears.
"Ahad! Our... Our baby" she said and hugged me tightly with tears in her eyes. I tried to make her calm but she still cried. "Shh it's ok" I said.
"Zoya just pray for our baby! We can't do anything! Nothing is on our hands. Stop blaming yourself for something that you didn't do" I said pushing her hairs behind her ears.
