Not Enough

IM BACK!! I've been working on this and another story while on my hiatus.  Everything is good and band season ends in two weeks so I'll have some time on my hands! So get ready for a lot of notifications!

     Kirishima looked at his hands, the letter clear as day and a small device thingy that had just played a hologram of All Might, announcing that he had just been accepted into UA, his dream school.

   His mother jumped happily and pulled him into a hug, her body vibrating as she silently laughed with tears in her eyes. Kirishima couldn't believe it. That someone like him got into a famous school with such a lame quirk.

     His mom pulled back with a smile on her face, her wavy and short black hair dangling from side to side as she shifted her weight. She didn't look a day over twenty.

     "I did it mom..! I did it! I got in!" Kirishima recovered from his shock and started celebrating with her. He jumped up and down, their hands connected and Eijirou didn't know how to feel. He had to call his friends, tell everyone he knew.

     His mother smiled sweetly. "I knew you would! You're a strong and kind person after all. I've never seen anyone as hardworking as you!" She signed.

     Kirishima's mother, Sutekina Kirishima, went mute after her husband had died. She works as a teacher at a deaf school for children and teens around the corner and the school pays good money. Her quirk, leather, allows herself to make any part of her body become leather hard and still be flexible. Combined with her husbands quirk, enhancement, meaning he can enhance anything like strength and durability, they made Eijirou have a hardening quirk.

     Eijirou almost burst into tears of joy and he couldn't contain his excitement. He was so full of energy and happiness he could almost implode.

     He ran to his room, quickly got changed and ran out the door after hugging his mom and telling her where he was going.

     He ran, texting Mina and Kaminari and Sero to meet him at Mina's house since her parents were never home. They all should've gotten their letters today.

     He took two at a time up the porch steps and banged at the ugly brown door. It soon opened with a happy pink toned girl with pastel yellow horns and black eyes. Her curly long hair was tied in a ponytail as her happy smile greeted him.

     "Oh my god Kiri, you're glowing! What happened?!" She ushered him inside and offered a seat in which Kirishima declined by bouncing up and down. Not even two minutes later, Kaminari and Sero walked in with happy smiles on their faces.

     "Did you get the letter Eiji?" Kami asked in which the boy happily nodded. "Sero and I did too!"

     "What about you Mina?" Sero sat down, pleating his jeans. Mina shook her head.

     "I haven't opened mine. I was waiting until mom and dad got home but now I have to know! Wait a sec!" Mina darted to her room and ran back out, tearing open the envelope to expose a letter and a small device that a hologram spewed out of.

     All Might announced her acceptance into UA and the group almost hit their heads on the high ceilings.

     "I GOT IN TOO!" Kirishima exclaimed after the thing turned off. Kirishima didn't hide his bright smile and neither did the others.

     "WHAT CLASS?!" Mina shook Kirishima's shoulders.

     "1-A!" Kaminari and Sero jaws dropped.
