Missing home

POV:MIDORIYA

It was the next day and seeing my mom had helped me, made everything feel a little more normal. But at the same time seeing her made me even more homesick. I miss her, her cooking and our late night movie marathons. Going into this thing I knew everything would change and I knew it would take some getting used to but I feel like I have taken three steps back.

I had been laying in bed for a little while, more than I usually do thinking of all the things that had been happening lately. The dinner I had with Todoroki last night kept popping into my mind, it was such a simple thing, yet it made me so happy. I finally got out of bed and got dressed into some comfortable clothes. I saw the dirty clothes in the basket were starting to get full, so I grabbed it and went off to the laundry room. Once i got to the laundry room there were two others in there, Kirishima and ochoko they were at opposite ends of the room ochoko was folding her clothes while it seemed Kirishima was just putting his laundry in.

"Oh! Hey ochoko" i said while carrying my basket full of clothes over one of the washing machines. "Hey deku! How are you?" she asked looking up from her clothes

"I've been ok, i just got to visit my mom yesterday it was really nice." I stated while putting my clothes in the washing machine then turning towards her, I saw out of the corner of my eye that Kirishima had left the laundry room. "Oh, that's really good!" she smiled putting her clean folded clothes back into her basket "well deku I'm going to go put these up I'll see you later" she walked past me leaving the room.

I finished putting my dirty clothes into the washing machine. I knew it would take about an hour for them to wash so I had some time to waste. Since it was about lunchtime and I hadn't eaten, I went down to the kitchen and grabbed some of the stuff to make myself a salad. While i was making my food i heard footsteps coming down the stairs, i didn't look over to see who it was i was more focused on finishing my food. 

"Hey midoriya" I heard a deep voice say as they turned the corner. I finally looked up from making my food and saw that it was Todoroki, "Oh! Hey Todoroki! Would you like some food? I was just making a salad, "I said smiling.

"Oh I would like that thank you midoriya, '' Todoroki said as he came up to me shoulder to shoulder. '' I also have some cookie dough if you would like to help me with that later!" I went back to making the salad just adding a little more for Todoroki now.

"Ya that would be fun" Todoroki said, having more of a blank expression on his face. "Are you alright? Something seems like it's bothering you?" I asked, turning away from the salad. 

"Well... it's just i can smell the hormones coming off of you, you're about to start heat i can smell it." Todoroki's face started to turn a light shade of pink. "Oh! I didn't know! I'm so sorry!" i shouted at him.

"It's alright, you have a very nice scent. It's not like it's bad, just as you get closer to heat it will affect me a little." Todoroki said while his face turned back to his normal pale tone. While my face turned into bright red, I hadn't known my hormones were that strong at the moment.
