Bryan texted me on Sunday like he said he would, and we had a fun little conversation. Monday and the rest of the week went well, it kept the days interesting to flirt with each other once a day at 1pm. He was still shy, but by the end of the week, he was texting regularly and not tripping over his words as much. He was very open and honest with things and let me know he just has a little anxiety when it comes to trying to date; he didn't have too much experience with it since he had spent most of his life with his head in books, studying for a better career. He was just a big ol' nerd and I was okay with that. Smart guys were a bit of a kink for me.

For our second date, I opted for Friday night instead of Saturday in case Hoseok decided to show up and cause a scene. I didn't want that piranha scaring off this good catch. The date was great, he took me to a movie and a cute little diner for a casual meal. We held hands most of the evening and laughed about everything. I hadn't laughed like this in so long, it felt good to be myself again. When he took me home, he was still a perfect gentleman. Bryan gave me a soft kiss goodnight and said he would text me tomorrow to see if I wanted to have lunch with him. I really wanted to... maybe I'd go for it. As long as I was back home by Hoseok's usual time, it would be alright.

Saturday came and I was nervous, I didn't want to deal with any drama. Bryan's text came through and I decided to go for that lunch date after all. It was just a quick date at a small sandwich shop, but I liked spending time with him. He never made me feel pressured or rushed, just two friends hanging out with hopes of taking it further one day.

"Would you like to go with me to the bookstore? I have to stop there before I head home."

I looked at my watch, still early. It's only 3pm. "Sure! I'd like to get the latest edition in the series I'm reading anyway."

"What are you reading?"

We talked, walking hand in hand on our way to the bookstore, discussing all the books and authors we enjoyed. I hadn't realized so much time had gone by while we were in the store, before we knew it, it was 6pm.

"Oh hell! I need to get home.", I looked at my watch, quickly making my way to the register to buy my new book.

"Oh wow! It got late fast!", he laughed, following right behind. "Time flies when you are having fun."

"Sure does!", I laughed.

We paid for our finds and had to part ways at the door, each living in the opposite direction. Hailing a cab, I made him rush me home. I ran up the stairs and to my door, expecting to see Hoseok standing there mad, but... nothing.

"Huh...", I shrugged. Good then.

Going inside, I got comfy in some PJ's and sat down with my new book. My phone went off a bit later.

'Just got home. Did you get back ok?' – Bryan

'Yep. Just got comfy with my book.'

'Great! Let me know how it turns out.' – Bryan

'Sure will! Have a good night.'

'Night night.' – Bryan

What a good guy! It was nice to be dating someone who cared enough to look out for me. By 10pm, I realized Hoseok never showed up. It's for the best, he's probably out with some other girl right now... claiming her to be his own instead of me. Doesn't matter, let her have the drama, I had Bryan and a real relationship now.

The week ticked by and Bryan started bringing me little snacks and things at work when he'd come up for the daily reports and contracts. So sweet! Another week of this and I'd forget all about my stalker. Another week down, another date with my sweet boy coming!
