I was the worst for sending Bryan away like that after being the one who initiated the heated session. He said it was fine, but I still felt like a heel. After going inside, I took a nice cold shower and just went to bed. It was the best way to deal with the annoying tingle I brought on myself. Damn Hoseok... why couldn't he have just gone back to his way of life and forgotten all about me? And why was I even holding a soft spot for him? It's never been anything but meaningless sex with him, so why was I giving him the time of day now that I didn't need him anymore? Annoyed to hell, I rolled over and closed my eyes, forcing myself to sleep.

Sleep came and went all night for me, I couldn't seem to get more than a few hours at a time. Waking up late on Sunday, I finally rolled out of bed and popped myself in the shower for a few seconds to wash away the sleepies. Dragging myself out to the kitchen, I made some coffee and scrambled eggs with bacon to complete the wake up process. Eyes open and belly full, I finished the morning routine and did some quick weekly chores. On the dining table was Hoseok's address, we never set a time and I still didn't have his number to call and ask. When I punched the address in, I saw that he didn't actually live all that far away. That must be why he's always at the same clubs as me, we lived just about the same distance away from the main club we both favored, just in opposite directions.

What time would be good to go? Would he be home? I didn't want to go too late, but I didn't want to go too early either. I'll just put the movie in my purse and stop for some lunch on the way, maybe go shopping to kill some time? I'd also walk there so it took longer, I enjoyed walking anyway.

Living downtown had its advantages, everything I wanted to do or needed was within walking distance. There was this delicious little deli down the way that made the BEST hoagie sandwiches. I think that would be lunch today. Enjoying my meal in the small dining area, I looked out on the street and people watched for a bit to take up some time.

"Everything okay today, Candice?"

"Sure is Joe! Your sandwiches are always the best."

"You're my favorite customer, you know that?"

"Oh, you say that to all the regulars!", I tipped my hand at the older gentleman.

"You've been coming in here for years, and you're always so friendly."

"That's because you treat me so good, how can I not enjoy eating here?", Joe was always a little flirty, but he's a sweet man.

"My wife just made cookies, would you like one my dear?"

"The famous white chocolate macadamia??", I was sitting up and drooling just thinking about them.

"You got it!"

"I sure would! Actually, I'll get two, I'm on my way to a friend's house and I'm sure he would like one too.", I started to dig around in my purse for a couple dollars.

"It's on the house my dear.", he chuckled.

"Oh no, I couldn't!"

"First one's always free, get your friend just as hooked on them as you are and send him my way for more!", he was in full laughter now. "Call yours a 'finder's fee'."

"You sly old man!"

"Watch your mouth now sweetie, I'm not too old.", he winked. Dirty old man. A laugh rolled from my lips.

When he came back with the cookies, I ate mine so fast I couldn't savor it. One bite of that fresh, still warm and melty cookie and I inhaled it. I looked at Hoseok's cookie, feeling the warmth of it in my hand. It was wrong... the thoughts I was having, I shouldn't... CRAP! Too late, I took a bite of it and before I knew it, it was gone too.
