Bailey's POV

Finally worked up the courage to go inside, I kept my head low afraid to look up and see a figure in front of me. Slowly, I calmed myself down taking my mind off of the situation by reading a book. I was all cozied up with my hair in a messy bun, small strands falling into my face. A cup of tea, sweat pants, and a sweatshirt that was much too large for my small petite body. I settled down ready for bed, but not ready for the dreams that kept reoccurring.

I got into bed, covering myself up with my blankets and getting into a comfortable position. I was drifting off when I heard wardrobe door knob jiggle. My eyes shot open as I peeked over to the door not moving a muscle hoping that it would help me to stay unrecognizable. The door slowly crept open as I saw a tall figure emerge from the doorway. He lifted his hand up, and the light turned on. I let my eyes adjust. "Hm, so we meet." the boy said. He looked to be around my age. I furrowed my eyebrows together. "What the actual fuck are you doing in my house?" I shouted at him.

The boy had brown hair that looked to be slick back with gel that had worn off throughout the day. He had very pretty blue eyes, and a small gap between his front teeth, but I found it cute. The glare he gave me was intimidating. I knew he could tell I was intimidated by the smirk he gave me. "This was unexpected. I wasn't even supposed to meet you. I was supposed to make you miserable and hopefully you'd leave so this would be my house again." he said in a snarky tone.

"Your house? I bought this house." I said giving him a 'duh' type of look. "Oh but you don't know do you." He said pretending to make a sad face. In the snap of his fingers he transformed, making me gasp very loud. "What are you?" I said scooting all the way back to the headboard. "A spirit."

Now the boy looked to be in pain. His eyes were black pits, there were slits on both sides of his mouth, bruises, a gash in his leg, his clothes were covered in blood, and lastly a gun shot through his brain. "Wha-what happened." I stuttered out. "That's none of your business. Humans are terrible creatures, I hate them all." He said crossing his arms and pursing his lips. "Not all humans ar-" "blah blah blah heard it a million times. I don't care,
now if you don't mind I have some things to get done."
