As soon as he closed the door, I crawled over to Derek's body. "I am so very sorry, Derek. I didn't think he'd do this. It's my fault for letting you die...it's my fault.." I broke down, crying hard. After that, I wasn't allowed to have "friends" over.

The next day, just like last time, Brandon left as I got to the table. Nicole grabbed his arm and forced him to sit down. He rolled his eyes then glared at me. I bit my lip to prevent myself from crying. Nicole saw my expression as I placed my head down inbetween my arms. "Hey, do you know where's Derek?" Nicole asked, concerned. "He probably got tired of you,"

"Brandon!!"

"What?!"

"First of all, change your attitude!! Second, we don't know where he's at!!"

"Third?" He asked harshly, glaring at her. "Stop!! Both of you, just stop!!!" I slammed my fist on the table, making them jump. They looked at me with shock. "Angie, tell us; do you know where he's at?" Nicole asked, concerned. I wrote He's ded... got up, flicked the paper to Nicole and left. I heard her gasp and Brandon asking her what's wrong. I opened the cafeteria door, without looking back and began running to the library.

I went to one of the shelves and grabbed a book, then went to sit down on one of the chairs. The words were blurred by my tears as I tried to read. It was useless. Glancing to my right, I noticed Nicole and Brandon walking towards me. I buried my head into the book even further, hoping they won't see me. Placing the book down, I looked at them with sad eyes. Nicole sat down next to me as Brandon stood by with a bored expression. "Tell me what happened, please?" She asked, rubbing her hand across my back. l had to lie to her; saying that he was shot in the head on the way home. Brandon rolled his eyes then walked over to me, asking if I was telling the truth. I nodded. It will be moments before they find out about the actual truth.

I was still depressed about Derek as I got on the truck. Nate noticed my expression and started smirking as we drove away. I noticed him as well. "I can't believe you killed Derek, you murderer!! He didn't deserve to die! He was a very sweet guy and you had to end his life!! What is wrong with-"

He had slapped me.

I held my cheek, trembling.

"Shut up, you ungrateful girl!! Just shut up...I don't want to hear another word from you as of today, got that?!"

"Y-yes, sir,"

"Good,"

I looked away from him and sighed heavily. My head was spinning due to the slap.

When we arrived at the house, I went to my room and closed the door. I turned around and looked down. Derek's body was still there, untouched and starting to go pale. I knelt down next to him, brushing the hair from his eyes. "I'm sorry, Derek..I truly am..." I heard a knock and quickly got up. Nate opened the door and asked me to go get a body bag.

Twenty minutes later, we were at the lake, dumping his body in it. Derek's body sunk to the ground and I turned away, unable to watch. "That should get rid of the evidence we did." He muttered as he faced me. I scoffed, "We?! You are the murderer, not me, Nate!! This is your fault!!" I shot back, my left eye twitching in frustration. "Actually, this is your fault, Anna. If you haven't asked me, none of this bullshit wouldn't have happened!!" Nate yelled back as he walked back to the truck, leaving me in shock. I looked back one last time and said goodbye to Derek.
