Chapter 3

"Yes i know that I'll be fine and that eventually, things will work themselves out. I know whats meant for me will always be for me... I know. But i just need a minute or two to pull myself together; because sometimes the shit life throws at me gets a little heavy, thats all."

Richie Tozier.

He was officially a foster kid when he was 16 years old, after both of his parents died. Before that he was already in and out of foster homes every time his parents fucked up then "got their shit together" somehow everytime he was aloud to go back to his parents. The longest he was in a foster home Before his parents died was a year.

He loved his mom and dad of course. He had given up on his dad since he was 12 years old because he got his mom into drugs and he beat his mom and when he tried to stand up to him for her he would hurt him too. His dad was not in Richies life much because he was always going to jail and his mom would go right back to him. His dad was the reason they were homeless all of the time. wentworth Tozier. He was the one who caused richie and his mother pain. He's the reason Richie wanted to hurt himself.

Richie hid his pain behind humor. The only person that knew of Richies home life was Stan Uris. Stan was richies best friend since freshman year. He was the only person he ever told about his parents death. Of course people knew that they died, but no one knew how. Only stan knew that Richie was the one who killed them. Stan didn't judge.

Richie blamed himself for their death and that sent him over the edge. He got very reckless after that. When he was put in a home with the Kaspraks he was forced to do all of the cleaning and taking care of his foster brother Eddie. The woman that fostered him was Sonia Kaspbrak, she was terrible, to him and Eddie. Eddie was the sweetest kid Richie had ever met, he had no idea how Eddie came from Sonia.

He and Eddie we're kind of close even though he was only 8 when Richie started living there. Richie was out most of the time going to partys all across town. He hated being sober, but he never let himself get addicted. He did not want to end up like his parents so he did all different drugs and drank a lot. Richie wanted to stop feeling.

Stan went to parties with Richie every once in a while, Stan was often worried about Richie but he didn't tell Stan most of what he did. Richie was known as a jerk to mostly everyone, except Stan and Mike everyone else only really talked to him during parties. Richie was an asshole when he was on anything other than smoking weed.

He matured more was he grew up but he's still reckless. You'll always catch him snorting something or smoking something in his free time. He doesn't let it interfere with work, he still isnt addicted to anything but he's ruining his body.

It always helped him not feel, when he needed to feel something he would pinch himself to the point where he bled. Sometimes his arm would get too close to the candle creating a huge mark, some times it would be a simple deep cut, but rarely.

Richie Tozier hated his life, he didn't want to kill himself anymore but he's not thoughtful when it comes to his safety.
