As they walked to their first class, Tanjiro met up with Inosuke, as he promised to not walk away like that again. "I'm sorry, Inosuke. You were just,, on my nerve."
Inosuke jammed his hands into his pockets and growled "You better be sorry, Gonpachiro!"
"It's Tanj-" Zenitsu pulled the two males apart. "Zenitsu?" Tanjiro tilted his head in confusion.
"Yes, I'm here? I just ran from a spider that was on the floor and I think it was chasing meEEEE!" He trembled, hugging Inosuke's leg. Inosuke looked down at Zenitsu then back up at Tanjiro. All Tanjiro did was shrug and look down at the blonde who somehow managed to fall asleep.
"You, Gonpachiro, carry him to class. I don't want him" Inosuke demanded as he pointed at Zenitsu. "Why m-" "JUST DO IT!" Tanjiro let out a sighed and got down, slowly picking up Zenitsu. "Ok- Let's head to class before we're late"
Inosuke nodded and laughed loudly, it brought a whole crowd of attention towards them. Tanjiro started walking to class, Inosuke left behind with everyone staring. "Eh?- What are you guys lookin' at?!"
As he walked through the halls, Tanjiro kept a small smile on his face. 'Yet again he's always sleeping, I haven't noticed how cute it is until now..' He looked down at Zenitsu who was slowly waking up. Tanjiro coughed in embarrassment, slowly putting Zenitsu on his feet. He held his hands, making sure he didn't fall over.
"Tanjiro?" He yawned opening his eyes a little. "I see you're awake!" Tanjiro smiled softly. "What happened? How did we get here?" Tanjiro tilted his head a little, booping Zenitsu's nose a few seconds later. "Long story short, you got some sleep while you could." He teased. "That sounded mean!" Zenitsu pouted letting go of one of his hands and making their way into the class room.
Tanjiro held back a laugh, then he saw their hands touching, it made him think 'From what I see... we won't last long... But I can still love you.. right? That is.. if we don't last...'
