Chapter 10

Courtney's Pov

Guess who's got a date? Um, me! Yeah, I'm so cool. You should all be taking notes on this because, let's face it, I'm awesomer than you. Just kidding... Or am I? So I began the ritual of preparing for my date. First, prepare the human sacrifice. Wait no, first straighten the absolute shit out of your hair. I decided to go classy and pick a fitted, yet elegant black dress that complimented my figure. Look at me all fancy. I feel purdy *bats eye lashes*. I put on some black pumps because we all know that I love the color black. (Describe more of outfit here). After I was done redoing my makeup and such, I made my way to the lobby. Harry was already waiting there in his classic white shirt and black jeans that are tighter than most of mine. I love the the way his inked chest would slightly show through the cotton shirt. Once his eyes landed on me, I saw him trying to fight back a smile.

"Hey, look at you." He tangled his fingers with mine. "You don't look terrible."

My mouth dropped open as I hit him in the shoulder. "You're an ass."

"And you are the idiot who actually is going on a date with this ass." A smirk played on his lips as he led me outside.

"AH HA, so it is a date?" I grinned.

"Psh, What? No, I never said that! You need to hush because you are hearing things, Kitty. Just enjoy the nice breeze."

"You're weird, you know that?"

"You aren't exactly normal either, sweet heart." He said in return. "But you do look very nice."

"That's more like it." I looked up at him while Harry tried so hard not to look flustered by this much emotion which really wasn't much at all. It's a lot for him. "You look quite handsome."

His gaze met mine. "I'm wearing what I always wear."

"I know, but you look nice."

"Thank you." He seemed uneasy. Aw, look at how cute he is when he's all embarrassed.

"So where are we going?" I asked excitedly.

"It's a surprise, but I have a feeling that you will like it."

I was quite intrigued by the mystery, but replied, "If it involves getting drunk, I want nothing to do with it."

He shook his head. "We both know that you don't need alcohol to do stupid shit, so don't worry. We aren't getting waisted."

"Shut up! I'm not that bad, okay?"

"Oh yeah? Remember when you decided to get bangs." He teased.

"That was five years ago, and I learned my lesson never to get haircuts while you're sad!" I defended myself.

"How about that time that you got yourself stuck in a tree in the fifth grade?"

"I was nine, and it was a dare! How do you even remember that?"

Harry laughed. "How couldn't I? You were near tears in this huge fucking tree, and these kids were trying not to pee themselves with laughter, including me. Then finally I had to drag your ass down from there since you were so scared of heights."

I smiled as Harry reminded me of what seemed to be a horrid day when it was happening. I was small... And it was a really big tree. Now that I think about it, Harry was always quite strong because he had to constantly save me from the stupid things I did as a kid. I mean granted I wasn't heavy, but still for a ten year old boy to be able to carry almost his own weight down a tree, it was pretty impressive. We finally got to our destination, and I was stunned. It was under the pier. Some candles were set up with a few pillows and blankets along with a picnic basket. I looked back at Harry to see this adorable fucking smile.
