JAY LOOKED AT Adelaide in distain, she was swinging from branch to branch, singing Disney Songs.
Jay felt the eyes on him, he decided to figure out how many things might be watching him but the quantity of eyes felt like 5-6 people/animals.
Jay sighed, "I have to go Addie, are you staying out here for the night?" Jay asked, "Yeah! Bye Jay" Adelaide grinned and hugged Jay goodbye, but both froze in fear when they heard a deep growls coming from some tall trees. Adelaide gripped to Jay which caused the growls to get louder, "You're not staying here, Addie" Jay stressed, "I can't, my Mom and Dad think I'm staying at Jessica's and before I came I drank a truck load of alcohol!" Adelaide yelled, seemingly sobering up, "Why don't you go to Jessica's?" Jay asked, "Last time I showed up shit faced drunk she told me she'd break up with me if I arrive like that again!" Adelaide yelled, "My parents don't exactly like you so it won't end well" Jay sighed, "Yeah" Adelaide sighed, "Stay with me" Adelaide begged, "Addie, I can't" Jay sighed, noticing that the growling quietened significantly at that statement alone, "Plus Growly McGrowlyson seems to not like me being near you" Jay tried to joke but failed when Adelaide's face showed pure horror at something behind him, but when Adelaide went to scream something ripped her from the ground into the tall trees making Jay stumble backwards in shock and fear.
"ADDIE!?!" Jay yelled, he looked around but there was no sign of her, blood or anyone that could of taken her.
Jay ran from the forest, the eyes were gone and he feared they took Addie.
"HELP!" Jay yelled as he got near people, they turned to him and he recognized them as Jessica's parents, "Mrs Queen, Mr Queen! Adelaide - she was taken! Something pulled her away and I can't find her!" Jay spoke as he panted, Mrs and Mr Queen shared a look and instantly called the cops, Adelaide was like a daughter to them so their worry was understandable.
Jay sighed as he sat down, worried about Adelaide so much that he blocked out to comforting feeling of the eyes.
Jay looked up as a car pulled up, it was some cops he knew Mr and Mrs Queen called but Jay felt uneasy, Adelaide disappeared because the eyes were angry, they could get angry at anyone else Jay spoke to.
They could hurt his family, they hurt his friend and they could hurt anyone and anything Jay deemed important but the eyes felt comforting and warm. They were minacious yet Jay thought they were comforting. Jay's mind was racing, they could hurt people that hurt him but also hurt people he loves.
Jay sighed, retelling the story to some cops but being weary of including the eyes he feels staring at him, he doesn't want to bother anyone with his problems. Jay was thanked by the cops for his cooperation and left him alone.
Jay started to walk, ignoring anything that moved around him for his designation — home.
Jay sighed, opening the door to the chaotic home as the eyes left his form.
"Jay, why are you home so early? Where's that Adelaide girl?" His mother asked, "Adelaide was snatched by someone or something in the forest, I couldn't find her and had to call the cops" Jay shakily stated, looking down at the floor, tears flowing from his eyes, "Oh, my poor baby!" His mother yelled, hugging Jay as she helped him up the stairs, "Rest for a while, baby" His mother frowned, letting Jay go into his room and fall on his bed, reflecting on the day.
Addie's gone, the eyes took Addie. They took Addie. They took Addie. Why? She did nothing! ADDIE DON'T GO! YOU PROMISED WHEN WE WERE YOUNGER! Addie, Addie why did they take you? WHY!?! Addie, you are my best friend. I'll find you...
