Irene ; Surprises

Alex and I strolled through the park. Under short notice, he dragged me to the park near his job.

A year and a half ago, he asked me out here. He was a shy kid, very cute and dedicated. Alex would buy me flowers and chocolate, use cheesy pickuplines or just stare at me, saying I was the definition of Beauty. I loved him, and I believe it was the same for him.

"Irene?" He asked, spinning in front of me and stopping me from walking.

I was quite concerned. What was he going to do? "Yes, Alex? What is it?" Alex put a piece of hair behind my ear and smiled.

"I love you, you know that, right?" He asked. "And that I would do anything for you?"

"Yes," I said, " of course I do! Alex, what is this about?"

Alex continued walking. We walked and walked until we arrived under a tall tree. We could view the rest of the park from only standing under. It was amazing.

"Irene..." Alex kneeled down, giving away everything. I put my hands over my face and began the crying. "Will you marry me?"

"I do."
