"What the hell happened back there." Grip asked as he drove down the road, Karma was sitting in the passenger seat looking out the window lost in his thoughts as Nagisa laid in the back seat of the car still uncouncious.

"I got an anmounous call from an unknown number."  Karma explained keeping his eyes on the window not because he was enjoying the veiw of builds flashing by as they drove but more so because he was on edge now and he was paranoid. He knew his happiness wouldn't last for ever-it never did-but he didn't expect things to turn sower so quickly. This is why he'd been training Nagisa in the first place and though he'd gotten stronger he wasn't ready to take on someone like-

"I'm taking us to HQ." Grip's words cut into the redheads thoughts and he looked at Grip alarmed.

"What-why there." Without looking at his pupil Grip replied with,

"You said this boy already knows your an assassin. Having said that if someone was after you they wouldn't have targeted the apartment he was living in, they obviously want something with you to plant the bomb when you both where there, however, it was in his apartment so this only leaves me to believe they-who ever they are-want something with this boy weather it be him alive or dead. So having considered that, I think it best to take him back to HQ, it's hidden and highly guarded. He'll be safer there than any other place," Grip paused as he came to a stoplight glancing at the redhead. "Wouldn't you agree?"

Karma waited for a few minutes to respond as the car pulled off once more continuing their drive through the city. Finally after a decently long silence that wasn't really uncomfortable Karma let out a long sigh, "I guess you're right."

"Glad we settled that because we've got company." Grip announced Karma raised his brow as he glanced at the window once more as soon as he did he flitched back at the loud bang and the sound of a bullet-deflecting off the car's door.

"Shit." Karma seethed through his teeth. "Think you can lose em?"

"Sure if you keep them distracted." Karma rolled his eyes,

"There's one in the glove box." Grip replied as he gripped the steering wheel and sped up the car.

"I hate using these damn things," Karma grumbled as he opened the glove box and took out the 9mm Glock. Thank god he was wearing his army uniform right now.

"Don't get shot in the head now." Grip warned as Karma climbed over the seat and opened the roof as Grip tried to steady the driving. Karma took a deep breath and stood up from his crouched position so his torso and up were peeking out from the sunroof. As soon as he did shots were fired at him and he immediately ducked down, "There's only one car behind us, looks like a black SUV." Karma noted.

"Shoot the tires." Grip said as he swerved around a corner. He peeked out from the sunroof aiming his Glock at the vehicle as the wind raced against his ears. Four shots ran out as quick as lightning but only 3 tires were hit before the redhead ducked back down, though 3 tired were all they needed. The two front tires and the back left one. As the redhead ducked back down he crashed against the side of the car as Grip speed up and he blacked out from the impact...
