It's lunch time but I already ate I class. Guess I should have hit breakfast in the morning. "Hey L, you doing okay?" He asked. I nodded. "Do your friends know about us?" I said to him. He wrapped his right arm around the back of my neck. "Of course not, they would make fun of me for weeks. It's better if we just keep it a secret" He said. I nodded. Oh god, the next class is drama. One of the worst classes ever. I wonder if it is different than the one from my old school. The bell rings and we get to our classes.
I entered and sat next to Dom and Jacob. "Hello, class. I'm Mr. Robertson. I'll be your new drama teacher" The Teacher said. He seems quite jolly, that's a good sign. "Now, the prom is coming up, and we need a singer" He explained. Never mind. Five girls put their hands up and one boy. That one boy was Jacob. "Can you really sing?" I said while giggling. He looked at me. "Me? No. I'm putting my hand up for you" He said. I was surprised. "N-no..." I mumbled. He slowly put his hand down. A girl called Emily pointed and laughed. "What's so funny?" I asked. He gave me a stare. "Like you can ever sing, L" She said. I quickly grapped a microphone and started singing. I wanted to prove her wrong. She also grabbed a microphone.
As soon as we both stopped singing, there was a vote. Jacob knew that I was going to win from the start. That is why he had his hand up for me. Emily seemed pissed after I won, I don't blame her. To be honest, I don't even think that my singing voice was all that good. I'm surprised I got in, though. Looks who's going the prom. I really hope that Jacob asks me to go with him. I hate dancing, but I love Jacob.
There was a knock at the door, It was another teacher. He walked up to Mr. Robertson. They were talking about the principal, well, not anymore. "His house was on fire.." I heard them whisper. Me and Jacob looked at each other. "Hey L? What do you think the next principal will be like?" Dom asked. I looked at her and smiled. "Hopefully better than the last one" I replied with. It was the end of the day, and me and Jacob decided to meet up at Dom's place. We were gonna go to and get some takeaway and watch horror movies. Dom doesn't like scary movies, she mainly watches them because I do.
"What movie this time?" Dom asked. I looked at her. "What about Halloween?" I suggested. It was Halloween soon, so I thought it would be fun to watch it again. "I watched that when I was eight, it was terrifying" Jacob said. I nodded. During the film, my phone starts vibrating. It was text messages from the Emily. How the hell did she get my number? She was saying horrible things, such as "Your voice is disgusting!" Or "You are ugly that no girl would like you". Atleast she doesn't know I'm gay. Jacob saw the texts. He didn't look happy.
