It was Friday night. I was so pumped for the trip that I started annoying Louis only halfway through the day. I couldn't help my excitement and Louis knew that. It was my first ever trip without a parent and I finally felt this freeness that I couldnt explain.

The bell to 11th period rang as I watched the clock as each minute passed, eager to start my break with the people I loved most.

"So... you excited?" I hyped as I poked Louis playfully.

"Yes, Clementine. I'm very excited." He snapped at me.

"Jesus, it's finally break, what's wrong?" I asked and he huffed.

"I'm just not packed and I'm stressed out about driving the distance and the sleeping situations which will turn into a fight sooner or later." He rambled.

"Stop for a second." I demanded softly and he did, turning to me with an exhausted, given up expression.

"What." He sighed, tired.

"It'll be okay. I still have to pack too. We'll be okay. You don't have to stress about driving and if you want, we can switch off. I have my permit so I can drive if you want me too. And don't worry about the sleeping situations. Violet, Brody and I are so close and if there's any problems, I'll tell them to come to me. Just don't worry about anything. Break should be fun... for ALL of us. Just relax and celebrate getting away from school." I lectured and hugged him afterwards.

He hugged me tightly back and huffed again.

"Just don't worry." I whispered as I rubbed his back.

"What am I gonna do with you, Clementine." He chuckled and we continued walking until we arrived upon my house.

"I'll text you later. Text me if you want help packing too." I smiled and he nodded.

About an hour passed and I still was contemplating many different outfits when my phone dinged.

"Yeah so... I'm gonna take you up on the offer... I need help packing." His text read and I giggled to myself before grabbing my house keys and I was on my way.

I arrived at his house and knocked. He answered almost right away and stress just wore plainly on his face, clear as day.

"I need help." He simply stated and I laughed.

"C'mon you big dope." I chuckled and he welcomed me inside.

We put on music and I helped him put a week of outfits together.

"You wanna spend the night?" He asked innocently.

"Well, I still have to pack myself..." I remarked shyly.

"We can walk to your house and pack you and bring your things back over and you can stay the night and we can leave right away in the morning if you'd like." He offered.

"Are you sure you don't mind doing that?" I questioned and he nodded matter of factly.

We left his house and walked back to mine. It took about a two hours to pack my bags and after the long chore was done, we walked back to his house.

Louis danced around his kitchen to music that I was in charge of as he conjured up something for dinner. We ate and had a nice time together.

"Hey Clem!" Louis called me from his back porch as I finished washing the dishes.

I made my way out and the pool was finally uncovered and looked renovated. There were colorful flashing lights making the water look cool and two floaties danced around the top with the breeze.
