The Truth

  You missed school that day as well as Adrian. You both were home alone and you were now getting the ingredients to make Adrian's famous dog biscuits. "You need to grab baking powder, salt, and flour." He instructed and you followed all the directions that he gave. As you both waited for the bone shaped dough to bake you started to talk about everything. "So Adrian. What is it you don't talk about? I would like to know and have the right to since it involves me." You struck up the conversation recalling what Ethan had started to say something but Undertaker cut him off. "Dearie I don't want to hurt you with the truth. The truth can hurt at times and I could never do that to you." He avoided eye contact because he had his bangs pulled back. "But Adrian like you just said you couldn't hurt me. Please I need to know the truth to finish this case." You said this and went in front of him to hold his gaze. "Ok but I warned you." He said then sighed, "The truth is that when you were younger, like 4 or so..." He paused for a moment. "You got taken from your parents, but they came after you. I had warned them that they might not be able to get back, but they didn't listen. They followed the kidnappers into this dimension and built a life here with you. their one and only child. So they joined and became the leaders of the Shinigami death crew. But your parents and I were very good friends because... we worked together as shinigami's. But your dad was a demon and your mom was the original shinigami, they let your dad into the dispatch because your mom and him were married. We all knew each other very well and of course I fell in love with you the moment I saw you. But of course that makes you half shinigami and other half demon thats why your eyes are not the green color." He stoped and let you comprehend everything that just came out of his mouth. "Wait... so I'm a half breed?" you questioned and he replied with a head nod before continuing,  "So we have all met you before, and of course we all have watched you grow up to the age of 4 but you got taken away from us. But of course your parents must have let those memories drift away... all the fun jokes I had told you, gone. Please don't get mad at us dearie we never wanted to hurt you." He dropped your gaze again and stood deep in thought,

   'So my parents were the leaders of the Shinigami Death Crew. And here I am a half breed and I all knew these people... everything makes since now, with Adrian almost saying that it was nice to see me again but then Ethan and the whole case will be solved.'

 You snapped out of thought and looked back at Adrian, "I could never be mad at you nor any of the others. But now all we will have to do is resolve this case. And I will be returning home with you." It was now Adrian's turn to look shocked at your words, "No Y/N you can't return, you have a life here. There is no need to come back with us." You could tell that he was trying not to take back all those words but you quickly replied, "Nothing can change my mind and I have my own reasons." Those reasons being that you knew you loved all of them but had to choose one. You planned to go back with them and which ever took your heart when you got there you would go with. 

 Everyone got home and Grell came up and hugged you rambling on about something how she thought you were dead. "Grell I am not dead stop worrying." You said and the alarm for the biscuits went off. You walked into the kitchen to see Sebastian bending down and getting the pan out of the oven. You decided to try something that you had never done before but had seen Sebastian do. You concentrated your focus on your eyes and tried to make them turn, you had always heard it happens when you get mad so you thought stuff that made you mad. Sebastian stood up and walked over to the counter to set the pan down. He turned around and stoped dead in his tracks, you knew it had worked from the look of shock on his face. After about a good minute or so of him standing there in pure shock he got out of his trance and smirked at you, putting a finger over his lips  (Like in the chapter photo which I FINALLY got around to putting one up!) He then went back to what he was doing and you tried to get your eyes to go back to normal. Key word there was tried, "Hey Sebby can you teach me how to get my eyes back?" You questioned and walked over to him. "Well first take deep breaths and close your eyes". You did as instructed and took calming breaths in and out... in and out that is till you felt something cold pressing against your lips. You jumped a bit but a arm snaked around your waste, you pulled away from the kiss knowing Sebastian had tricked you. You opened your eyes and pushed him away as he said, "Well looks like my kisses calm you." You blush and look away as he said that. "Well at least I know the truth now."
