"i'm willing to do anything for him. anything for the sake of us, our relationship matters minnie."

jimin nodded slowly, listening to his troubled best friend, throwing in a few comforting words here and there.

"i've never had such strong feelings for someone before." jungkook said, his heart felt like it was hurting.

the pink haired male placed his (smol) hand on the latter's back, "i understand what you're saying jeunggukie but I truly want you to think from tae's point of view."

jimin sighed, "i know that i'm not someone whose close to him but i just wanna explain something to you."

"taehyung has never been in a relationship before, nevertheless had a freaking crush in his life. i don't think you know but his parents are very homophobic people..."

jungkook widened his eyes in shock, his mouth agape at the statement.

"oh my god. jimin, oh my god i didn't know. fuck. this is all my fault, what do I do?" the younger started to panic, his breathing unsteady.

trying to comfort his friend, jimin rubbed soothing circles on jungkook's back "hey, calm down. it's not your fault, ok? time heals, everything will be alright."

jungkook looked up, meeting his hyung's eyes. "is it really?"

"yes, now get up. our lunch break is over." jimin said hurriedly, seeing a certain someone a few feet away from them.

he felt jungkook tense up near him and saw him clenching his fists, glaring at that person.

yoongi.

jimin felt his heart start to beat faster, his insides feeling very nervous, "please jeungguk. he's not worth it." he begged, knowing that jungkook wouldn't let him go this time.

but before the ravenette could do anything, they saw someone with a bush of red hair approach yoongi.

there was another boy and girl tagging right behind him, their expressions worried.

"hoseok, no!"

it was too late, he had already thrown a hard punch at yoongi's jaw who fell down from the sudden impact.

"don't ever say that about jimin again, you asshole!"

jungkook and jimin glanced at each other before running over to their fuming friend.

"what happened-are you okay?" jungkook asked, checking for any wounds.

jimin was still in shock knowing that hobi never got angry at anyone ever. this was serious.

the pink haired male turned his head to see the one and only kim taehyung knelt beside the boy on the grass.

well, tzuyu was there too but she was trying to tell all the other students who were outside to back off.

when hoseok had seen taehyung move away, he grabbed yoongi's collar, forcing him to get up a bit. (he's sitting on top of him)

he punched him two more times, the black haired boy's nose was bleeding and he emitted whimpers of pain from his bloodied mouth.

tzuyu rushed and tried to get hobi away from him. jimin could only stand there and watch as everything unfolded right infront of him.

"w-what's going on?" he said in a broken voice.

jungkook noticed taehyung by his oversized hoodie, walking closer to where the latter was.

the silver haired male was trying to get yoongi to the nurse, a grunt escaping his lips as the older almost fell on top of him as he tried to carry him.

"i'll get this shithead," jungkook rushed over to the smaller boy, he quickly took yoongi by his arm and helped him walk effortlessly.

taehyung crossed his arms against his chest, growing more nervous secound per secound.

"tae..can we please talk later?"

the aforementioned gulped as he slowly lifted his head, allowing jungkook to see his frightened face.

"o-okay..." that reply was enough for the older to nod in confirmation and walk away.

instead of the silence being awkward between them, it was rather soothing.

the wind was blowing and the sky looked beautiful with it's radiant blue colors and fluffy clouds.

jungkook focused on the shorter boy walking next to him, his face looking angelic even though he wasn't doing anything.

they both stopped walking when they reached the empty playground, the sun was starting to go down.

"this reminds me of last time." the ravenette was caught off guard when he saw taehyung's box like grin.

his giggles sounded so pure and heavenly, jungkook's state of mind becoming euphoric.

the older felt a growing lump form in his throat, desperate to confess to taehyung about his feelings.

"i'm sorry for what happened, tae. i promise i didn't mean to hurt you in any way-"

he was cut off with taehyung smiling sweetly at him, "no, it was my fault too gguk."

taehyung released a shallow breath almost as if it was hard for him to go on, "i was just confused."

jungkook furrowed his eyebrows thinking about how things would be okay between them but taehyung would start avoiding him all of a sudden.

it was like taehyung had mood swings.

"are you sure you're not mad at me?" jungkook spoke uncertainly.

taehyung nodded his head, unaware of how he made the older feel sometimes.

jungkook walked towards the slide, standing against the latter for it. his hands in the pockets of his jogger's.

the silver haired male ran to where jungkook was, disliking how he was frowning.

"i'm not mad at you..." taehyung had never felt so brave before. even though he whispered it, jungkook had heard.

"baby, look at me." jungkook moved away his slightly ingrown raven colored hair strands away from his face.

taehyung was taken aback at the old nickname, his breath hitched as he looked up into jungkook's dark eyes.

the older looked at the blushing boy infront of him, he only held affection in his tenebrous orbs.

taehyung became lost in his eyes, almost as if he was able to read a hidden emotion behind them.

jungkook watched taehyung hesitantly raise his hand and bring it close to his cheek.

taehyung caressed the raven haired's cheek with his his shaking hand really softly.

he cupped it in the end, taehyung was a flustered mess at his own actions.

"i trust you, gguk."

jungkook leaned into taehyung's gentle touch, he felt his eyes become glossy at the younger's sincere words.

"thank you for that, angel."

jungkook grabbed his hand in his own, bringing it to his lips, placing a kiss on it.

they rested their foreheads against each others, matching the rhythm of one another's heart beat.
