Jun-Myeon and I stayed up late for the first time in awhile, we don't feel safe after meeting The Phoenix. Especially after some information given by Min-Seok. We plan to find our parents, no matter how dangerous it is.

"Don't move!" A man dressed in black jumps in front of us with a gun pointed right at us.

He has no shot at shooting us both.

I mentally scoffed at him.

"We have you both surrounded." He speaks behind his mask. A sword was pointed at our neck.

"Who are you?" He ask.

I can't help but glare at him. Jun-Myeon slowly stood up, "I would politely ask everyone to take a step back." He reaches for his necklace. "Do not move!" The man shouted and shot a bullet in the air.

"Stay away from them." Min-Seok and Jong-In step in with rifles hung over their shoulders, "no one treats the highest ranking soldier this way."

"Meet Kim Chae-Won and Kim Jun-Myeon from The Empire. Also known as your Commander when you guys were just trainees." Jong-In smiles. The sword drop on the ground and I stood up.

The guys took off their masks and lower their heads, "we apologise for our actions." Do Kyung-Soo apologises for his team.

"Where are you from?" I ask.

"We're from The Deaths, we're part of the government." Tao answers, "well we were." He murmurs.

"Good to see you again." Luhan flash a small smile at me, "I am sorry, it has been years since we last you both." Kyung-Soo apologises once again.

"We just saved your life." Min-Seok smiles proudly.

"Don't be so full of yourself." I snapped.

"Hey, we came to help. Do you want to know where your parents are or not?" Min-Seok snaps back at me.

"Yes and don't talk to her that way." Jun-Myeon stated firmly. Min-Seok clears his throat, "we have a base, I think you guys might need that... There is some from the Empire that you would like to meet."

"Let's go—"

"How can we trust you?" I cut Jun-Myeon off, "if I want to kill you, I would've brought you up in a helicopter." Min-Seok says, walking off.

Gosh, does he have to be so cold?

"Come along, it would be an adventure." Jong-In smirks as he walks by me. He went onto hug Kyung-Soo, Luhan and Tao.

I look at Jun-Myeon and he nods his head.

Who dares to disrespect us anyway?

It took us half a day to get to their base, they had vines on the top of their tents and there isn't much people around.

"Noona!" Jong-Dae's ears perk up at the sight of me. And for months, I have never felt this happy and relief to see someone so close to me.

"Hyung!" Jong-Dae then calls out for someone, Yi-Xing and Baekhyun step out. "Omo hyung, noona, we have so much to tell you! We thought you guys were dead." Baekhyun look at us, his eyes filled with worry.

"Let's have them both settled down and clean up, alright? They look like they have it rough for the past 3 months." Min-Seok calms the three down.

I flash a small smile at them and follow Min-Seok.

"The Phoenix took Kris along with your parents. The three of them were the only ones found by them when the building collapsed. They go by Fan and one of the girl named Byul. I think they're together... Romantically." Jong-Dae fills me and Jun-Myeon in as we ate ramyeon with kimchi.

It tastes so good on a cold day like this.

"We were lost for a month... We found Min-Seok hyung—"

"Hyung." I murmured under my breath as Yi-Xing speaks.

"And he brought us here. His crew goes rounding regularly while we stay here and watch the base... I guess that's how he found you both." Yi-Xing smiles warmly.

"Are we going to work with them?" Baekhyun ask in a soft tone, "we have to, we need to find our parents. Our mother was about to give birth... I think she already has given birth..." Jun-Myeon assumes.

"Wow congrats." Min-Seok and Jong-In joins us around the bonfire.

"With all due respect from The Phoenix—"

"And also The Deaths." Tao cuts Min-Seok off, Min-Seok rolls his eyes at him and looks back at us. "All associations has always have the highest respect for The Empire. All information about what I know has been given to you." Min-Seok says.

I raise my brows at him, "how did you find all these? How did y'all manage to survive?"

Not many Phoenix's survived. Those who didn't wanted to turn all faced the same consequences, death.

"We turn in order to escape. We gather as much food as we could, blankets, tents and weapons and we escaped. This way we wouldn't get killed. Unfortunately... We got onto their list too." Jong-In explains.

"I know where they are." Tao spoke up.

Everyone looked at him, "they're all in the biggest building... The palace." Tao says.

"Thank you Min-Seok ssi. But the first thing tomorrow, is to go scoop the area and get all the ground details." I instructed, "yes ma'am." Min-Seok nods his head.

"It will be a pleasure working with you again." Min-Seok winks at me.

I simply smiled, "everyone have a good rest." Jun-Myeon says standing up and heading to his tent.

"Your brother sleeps early." Jong-In says, putting out the fire. "Yeah..." I muttered.

I stood up and take a good look at them, "goodnight boys, great to see you all again." I smiled and head to my tent.

When Jun-Myeon and I were 16, I was put in charge to train and take care of this boys. I taught them what I learnt from my father and Jun-Myeon was by my side guiding them along.

Just last year when we were 17, when they went back to their own associations, several cases was deployed and we had worked together. But it was short and easy to clear.

We never really bond or talk, we just knew of each other's existence. I never forget the names of the people I train. I'm glad they turned out well.

And here we are, fighting this war together.
