There is no country like Africa
No there's not a woman that radical
Despite our leaders lackadaisical
Our people still remain just magical
If you know just what we've battled
I bet you'll come out rattled
You'll just have to sit and marvel
For a there's never been a people so hurt
That still come without minds distraught
We're not like the 'perfects'
But we're well built on precepts
We hold on to our tradition
Because without it there would be perdition
And whereas you look and see failure
I look around and see a future
For the lives of the ones within us
Gives me hope that a strength lies amongst us
But It's been covered by a shade
Caused by a helping facade
Of the ones that sought to 'save us'
Yes the ones who claimed they graced us
But not to worry there's not a hurry
For God has a plan for everybody
"Every thing worketh for our good"
So yes, quite certain we shall improve
I only can't wait to see their faces
Of our so called hearty 'saviours'
When Africa unrolls
Yes when this lady unfolds
