Every year, instead of hanging out with my friends during summer break I had to travel to Hawaii with my family since it was some kind of tradition that was passed down from my mum since she said her mum used to do the same with her family so now every year, i missed out on 10 to 11 weeks of seeing my friends.

Although Hawaii gets prettier every time you see it, and i absolutely loved it there, that didn't mean that it wasn't boring. I had done everything there at every where I went someone always knew my name which only proves my point that I've done everything there like twenty times. I just want something different. And not to mention i didn't even have friends my age, they were all little kids that were friends with my little twin sisters who by the way still giving me nightmares after picturing them at the end of a scary hallway.

"Honey, you've been kept up in this room since we arrived yesterday" My mum spoke opening the door without knocking, knowing that telling her to knock next time wouldn't fix anything so I didn't bother, pulling my head from behind my phone screen.

"It's because i'm just going to be bored like every year" I complained, turning my phone off before sitting up and resting my back against the backboard of the bed. My mum sighed, making her way to the end of my bed.

"This place is basically our second home, could you really see us travelling somewhere else with this much history?" I looked at her confused.

"Obviously not, because we don't go anywhere else to make memories and history" She shrugged, tapping my ankle standing from my bed.

"Not my problem, now. Get up before I make you get up" She threatened, before leaving my room causing me to groan and cuddle into my bed, but once hearing my mother's footsteps coming back, i quickly jumped up but she ended up just walking past, looking around my room. I move towards the window, seeing multiple kids with boards in their hands, running towards the beach.

I sighed, looking over my shoulder towards my bikini that was hanging on the top of my tv, since i visited Hawaii so much, swimsuits were a necessary so much that i couldn't fit anymore in my draw, and normally I was the one over shopping but ever since a couple of months ago, my mum had become more of a teenage which disgusted me in every language.

I had got changed, stopping every now and then getting distracted by something before finally after half an hour, i was in a bikini and a oversize shirt to cover myself while I walked to the beach, grabbing my phone and ear phones.

Waving to my parents and little sisters as I left, putting my ear phones in and playing first take by travis scott. Which was easily one of my favorites but it wasn't like i could share that with anyone since i was an anti-social bitch. But i had to admit, the sun in Hawaii was so different then one in Australia. Instead of burning you half to death, it just felt reassuring and calming, maybe it was just me but there is definitely multiple suns.

I heard a distant voice, but i just thought it was the song until suddenly, something moving extremely fast planted itself into my forehead, sending me backwards onto my butt. Hearing whatever it was bounce on the ground and roll away from me but I was too busy holding my forehead in pain, and looking around for the culprit.

Multiple footsteps ran towards her, one a lot lighter than the other one before a small hand touched her shoulder. "Are you okay?" Obviously the words didn't come out as clear as they normally would if he was older but it did help me smile through the pain.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thank you" I looked at the small tan boy, who could only reach my shoulder due to me being on the ground. Before a shadow over took the sunlight from my eyes, causing him to look from the boy to a much older guy.

"Angelo, back off little man. Give her some space. We all know your a ladies man" He spoke up, sticking his hand out for me, which i gradually accepted, since my head was a bit fuzzy. And all plans of swimming at the beach was out of the question since i didn't want to pass out or something in the water. "You good? Sorry about that, I might have kicked the ball a little more to the left then anticipated"

"Yeah, yeah. I'm good. Just a bit fuzzy. Ill just head home and lie down for a bit" He nodded, scratching the back of his neck. Looking over at the small boy who was watching us with a large smile on his face. "You're brother or?"

"No. Cousin" I nodded quickly, as he corrected me. He obviously noticed the awkward silence, ruffling Angelo's hair before pulling him into a hug. "You're lucky that this guy was such a hero and rushed to your aid"

"I'm the luckiest girl in the world, thank you kind sir" I put my hand out to him, which he grabbed and kissed causing me to giggle and the boy around my age to chuckle at his cousin and pushed his head. before my phone started to ring, quickly excusing myself from the two boys.

"Hey Liza, Sweetie. Could you start heading home, Amalia and Cadenza want you to come home and play some board games with them" I sighed, looking over my shoulder. Watching the boy that i still didn't know the name of, tickling Angelo as they both laughed, smiling to myself before quickly bringing my mind back to the call.

"Yeah. Yeah. Course. Ill see you soon Ma."

I quickly ended the call before making my way back to the boys, both of their eyes lifting to me as I arrived back at their side, Angelo was no longer being tickled but now holding the soccer ball that I guessed was the one that hit me. "We need to start heading home, Dinner is nearly ready"

I nodded, pointing behind me "I need to get going too. Younger siblings want to hang with their cool older sister" He chuckled, putting his hand in his pockets before sticking his hand out towards me, catching me by surprise,

"I'm Mattia."

"Nice to meet you, Mattia. I'm Aliza"
