You call your mom, but as always, she doesn't pick up. She installed a tracker app on your phone, but it works both ways. Her location is still at the house. How someone got a hold of the calculator remains a mystery.

"Wha-what was th-that?"

Sayori stutters the words out while weakly pointing at the window. You cannot answer at the moment as you are just as baffled as she is.

"It's a calculator, but I left that calculator at my house."

"No, th-the thing that th-threw it."

"What was it?"

"I d-don't know... it didn't l-look human...."

Sayori goes silent and closes her eyes. The next thing you know, she collapses on the floor. You panic and run towards her. You lift her head from the floor, but she is unresponsive. All of the lights go out. You sit there in the dark holding her close to yourself in a moment of fear. Loud stomping footsteps sprint across the room. The stomping is now right in front of you, but it stops. You began stroking Sayori's hair as if it will calm you. As you run your fingers through her hair, you feel your other hand. But your other hand is holding her. You realize that the thing is right in front of you and stroking her hair as well. Then the lights snap back on, and Sayori takes a deep breath while waking up. She is in a panicked state, so you try your best to calm her. She has tears welling up in her eyes. You think it best not to tell her about what happened while she was unconscious. She manages to form a sentence when she says,

"C-can you p-please stay th-the night?"

You agree and hug her. You try to calm her down by making some ramen, which she, as usual, wolfs down without second thought. Sayori and you continue playing video games. Eventually, she falls asleep normally this time. You let her head rest on you as you finish the level in 'Alien Storm'. You finish and try to turn off the console, but you don't want to wake Sayori up, so you just sleep right there.

You wake up and see that Sayori is gone. You slowly get up, but your head hurts. Footsteps are heard in the kitchen, so you go there. But you aren't met with a pleasing sight. A warped face with blood dripping out the eyes looks back at you. Its jaw unhinges and droops down. You see huge colonies of spiders and tarantulas in the mouth. You turn and walk away, eager to leave that behind. A loud shrieking voice sounds throughout the house,

"You can't win. The Reconcile will prevail against your petty struggle. I am all the superior!!"

Sayori's head came tumbling down the hallway, leaving blood splatters every time it bounced.

You wake up with a headache. You feel more tired than when you went to sleep. Sayori is still asleep with her head on your shoulder. You look around to make sure you aren't dreaming. Everything seems normal. You begin to stand up, but Sayori turns her head to reveal she is a decomposing corpse. You jump back out of fear. A centipede crawls out her mouth. She slowly rises. She raises her arm in a puppet fashion and points. She screeches at you with tremendous volume. The voice is heard laughing from nowhere but everywhere. Her face begins to shrink into her skull.

You open your eyes to the dimly lit room. You look around quickly for any abnormalities. Everything seems normal, but you don't get your hopes up. Sayori is in the kitchen standing over the sink. She looks over at you.

"Well, you sure did sleep awhile."

You rub your eyes to attempt at ridding some of the sleepiness.

"Guess I was just really tired, I had a horrible dream."

Sayori turns the sink off and dries her hands.

"Well, couldn't have been worse than what I did. I thought I could surprise you with some pancakes, but I almost burnt the whole house down."

You realize that the house has been filled with the smell of something burnt.

"Sayori, why would you do that? Don't you remember the ego waffle incident, when you set fire to your kitchen?"

Sayori guiltily laughed. She asked in a weak voice,

"You wouldn't mind making some, would you?"

You get up and drag your feet to the kitchen, trying to look for any more strange happenings. You open her fridge and grab all the ingredients needed to make pancake batter. You begin mixing the eggs and flour but Sayori slips and knocks over the bowl. She lays on the floor for a bit covered in pancake batter. She sits up and looks at you.

"How about we just go to IHOB?"

You grab her hand to pull her up, but her hand is covered in pancake batter, so when you move, you shoot backward. Sayori slips forwards towards you and lands on top of you, leaving the both of you in an awkward position. Sayori has a small laugh.

"Fufufu, sorry about that..."

You and Sayori lock eyes. You both slowly lean in and your eyes close. Everything is happening too fast. Suddenly an amber alert goes off. Sayori lets out a small squeak of fear. She jumps off you. You look at your phone which now displays the amber alert.

Sayori looks at your phone.

"Isn't that your street?"

You are already putting your jacket on and attempting to locate your stuff.

"I don't know what's going on, but I have to go. That sounded exactly like the description of my mom."

Sayori's eyes widen with fright.

"No, please stay. It might not be safe to go there right now."

You are already reaching for the doorknob. You pause before your hand lands on the knob. You take a deep breath in and turn your head to look at her. Tears are beginning to well up in her eyes. She mouths the words, "Please stay" but it seems her voice is too dry for words to escape.

"I'm sorry Sayori, but I have to go"

It hurts to cause her any form of pain, yet you still rush out the door and into your car. You once again speed off. But in the back of your mind, you knew that something wasn't right about this.
