Alaia quickly pushed herself away from the door as if she wasn't listening to Hope's entire counseling. "I noticed you Alaia, it's alright. Let's just go back to our room," Hope sighed.

"I heard you dissing Shakespeare in there," Alaia comments, not knowing what else to say, "Shakespeare wasn't completely clueless," Alaia starts. "He had plenty of advice about how to handle betrayal. My personal favorite: Think, therefore, on revenge and cease to weep," She finished with a smirk. Hope made eye-contact and understood what Alaia was talking about. they grabbed the Mikaelson spellbook and ripped a page out of it.

When Alaia and Hope finished packing to go find Landon they walked towards the exit of the school when they saw Alaric talking to the twins. "We'll be back as soon as we can," he tells them. "Wait who's we?" Lizzie questions. Alaia and Hope hurry so Lizzie doesn't talk to them about it.

"Hey," Hope greets Rafael. "so much for not seeing him again," Alaia whispers to herself but Hope hears her and chuckles. "What are you doing?" Hope questions him. "Adjusting the sway bar," tells her. "Was it broken?" Hope speaks up again. "It is now," Rafael says while getting up from under the car. "You're going after Landon. If you want this car to work, I'm going with you," He tells them with a proud smirk.

"You should stay out of it," Hope tells him, "He's a liar and a thief."

"He took a stupid knife," Rafael matches her irritated tone. "Nothing in this school is a stupid anything," Alaia finally snaps at him.

"Look. He's my best friend," Rafael tries to reason with them. "You'd do the same if yours disappears wouldn't you?" Rafael tells them while the girls share a look. "And you? You seem vengeful," Rafael looks at Hope. he continues, "Something tells me you have a lot more anger in you than she has, lonely girl," he finishes with a look at Alaia, who held eye contact with him but didn't know what to say. Hope looked at her best friend and smiled slightly, knowing that the boy was right about her.

"Let me show you something, wolf-boy, close your eyes," Alaia says while putting her hands on his cheeks and showing him her memory from the spell they did last night." "What the hell was that?" Rafael questioned as he took a step backward. "Your best friend did that to a bus full of people on Route 29 last night, and we are the only one who knows how to find him, so give me the engine thingy," Hope told him in a serious voice. "No," Rafael says stubbornly. "I have actual magic powers, you know that right? " "And I have a long history of anger issues," told her, almost as a threat. "Well guess what, I have both. So step away from the truck, tough guy, and give us the engine thingy," Alaia took a step towards him with a look on her face that told him not to mess with her.

Alaric walked towards the group of arguing teens, "He can come.

"What?" the girls exclaimed. "He knows Landon; he'll be an asset," Alaric tells them. "And we need all the help we can get, so fix the car, hop in. And put a shirt on." Rafael looked down at his tanktop and chuckled before obeying Alaric.

Hope, Alaric, Rafael and Alaia arrive where they last saw Landon. "I Don't know why he's still out here. He has a whole day's lead on us. He could be anywhere," Hope states. "Maybe 'cause he doesn't have a reason to run," Rafael responds. "Logic that would be perfectly believable if he hadn't, you know, ran," Hope shots back at him.

"Wait Shh! You hear that?" Alaric interrupts the bickering duo, "Someone's here." Alaric starts running the other way and the teens follow close behind. When he suddenly stops there is a girl in a white dress, covered in ashes.
