Alaia woke up that morning, almost late to Alaric's assembly. when she came in, she heard Lizzie talk about being some kind of hero. she sits next to Hope and puts her head on the tribrid's shoulder. "She battles one gargoyle, and suddenly, she's Mother Teresa," Hope said while Alaia just shook her head. Alaia zoned out before Hope woke her by standing up, "I'd like to help."

Alaia laughed at her best friend's actions. "Why don't you volunteer too? we can pretend to be normal together?" the tribrid questioned.

Alaia actually thought about it, it could be nice to not be loners for one time. she was about to stand up before something interrupted her train of thought.

"I'm down if that's alright?" she heard her brother's voice echo through the room

"I'm down if that's alright?" she heard her brother's voice echo through the room. "never mind," she whispered to herself.

"You're going to mystic falls for the day? Who are you, and what have you done with Hope Mikaelson?" Alaric questioned. Hope looked back at her while she was fighting Alaric, "I never got to go to a real school. I've always wanted to know what it's like to be normal for a day instead of being a tribrid loner."

Alaia chuckled, "You wound me, Mikaelson. and here I thought you were happy with our pack of two." "You know I am, Laia I just want to see what it's like,"  Hope shrugged before stepping back from Alaric, letting Alaia train with him.

Hope took a sip of her water, "So, what's your plan with Jayden? Does he, like, go here now?" the tribrid questioned her headmaster.

"I think he has grown a lot since we last saw him, he needs a safe space to keep him away from the darkness and I think that place is here," Alaric started, making eye-contact with the Hybrid in front of him, "but if him being here upsets or angers you, I will send him somewhere else."

Alaia stopped fighting, while she grabs a bottle of water, "he can do whatever he wants. Let him be here. Just keep him away from me, I don't know how to act around him," she finished, before walking out of the gym.

Hope looked at Alaric, "any idea what we should do about the absentee brother and the lying little thief when we're looking for the missing mean girls?" she questions, talking about Jayden and Landon.

Alaric smiled at her slightly, " As a matter of fact, yes."

Alaia walked out of her room after changing in her school uniform, having no intention of going with the little squad of investigators, when she walked past Landon and Rafael's room. "You have a minute? I think you might be of some use today," she heard Alaric tell the human boy. she looked through the door, seeing Rafael smiling as she nodded her head at him.

Alaia sat down near the old mill, trying to eat her lunch in peace Rafael sat down next to her. "very stereotypical of you, lonely girl."

"Don't you have about ten girls who would love to be graced by your presence?" Alaia asked him, meeting his eyes.

"And don't you have a pack to sit with? because  I noticed they sit together." the boy raised his eyebrow.
