*****A/N: Hi everyone!! I would like to thank you so so much for reading my first book! Before you start, you should know a few things. 1.) In my story there a lot of mythical creatures, including werewolves. Many of them I've made up myself, and the others I took some characteristics from mythology and mixed them with a lot of my own stuff to make this world as unique as possible! 2.) There will be a lot of violence, swearing, and sexual content in this book, but I will warn you before anything too intense come up. 3.) I wrote and uploaded the first 5 chapters and the prologue at once, but from now on I plan on updating at least once a week. 4.) All I ask is for you guys to be nice in the comments. I am totally open to constructive criticism as long as it is respectful. Enjoy!!*****

I can see trees. They are beautiful and vibrant green and they are everywhere. The plants around them give off a delightful aroma of freshly cut grass and a variety of flowers. And if I look out past them, I can see the city. With skyscrapers that live up to their name, and people bustling everywhere. I can hear the daily rush hour traffic and the sounds of people talking in the busy market place not far from my window sill. The city has great parks and rivers and different islands with tunnels and bridges. Everything is alive and exciting in the city and it's all within my eyesight. Except one thing.

The Borders.

That's one thing I'm glad I can't see from my window. The Borders are ugly and wicked. I can't stand looking at them. I hate knowing that they're at the edge of the city. At the edge of all cities. They are grey, caked in mud and are dull and depressing. They're tall, sinister, and covered in cameras. The area around them always smells foul of piss and booze. Although no one cares about that. No one cares that we are basically trapped in this one city. Like hostages. Not a single person bats an eye as long as they stay on their side of The Borders.
