Viviana:
"No you didn't!" I sat up on Terrence's lap as he told me his story.
"Yup!" He laughed. "It was one of my first times with my wolf, I let him have full control. He was very clumsy and almost took us off a cliff."
"Oh my gosh! Why did anyone even let you near a cliff?"
"We we're traveling to another pack! It wasn't my fault!"
We laughed for a minute at his childhood antics. After we caught our breath he leaned down and pressed his lips against mine. I sighed as the sensation of sparks flew through my body.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" We pulled apart when Mandy opened the door of the lounge room. "How many times am I going to have to walk in on you guys making out?"
"Until you get used to it." Terrence teased. It had been a little over a month since our first kiss, and we haven't seemed to stop since. We were an actual couple now. We haven't slept in the same room or have done anything yet, but I was perfectly happy with all the cuddles and kisses I was getting.
"Ugh." I was pulled off of Terrence as she grabbed my arm. "Well, come on we gotta start helping again."
--------
"Hey everyone!" Mandy called as we walked onto the stage in the ballroom. "Sorry we're late."
Compared to the size of the room, the stage was fairly small. Big enough for a large group of people to be on it at once, but definitely not for any big shows.
We sat near the edge of the stage with the Luna and a large group of girls. There were small piles of crafting supplies spread around each one of them.
We were making decorations for the Mate's Ball. Once a year, unmated wolves travel to one other pack for a chance to find their mates. We are the biggest pack in our area, so we are the ones who host it.
"Ooooh someone smells like their mate!" A member laughed as I passed her to sit by Alta. "You guys having fun?" She wiggled her brows at me.
"Laura, stop picking on my son's mate." Alta said when all I could do was stutter. I was still an awkward mess around my own pack members.
"Yes, Luna." She smiled and bowed her head.
"You know she'll be the Luna sooner than you think."
"Yeah, how are your 'Luna Lessons' going?" Mandy elbowed my side.
"Pretty good." I looked at Alta. "Right?" I smiled.
"She's been doing extremely well. I have no doubt that Viviana will be able to take over with no troubles."
We smiled at each other and started working on the decorations. We put together elaborate streamers and banners to hang on the walls and the ceiling. They were beautiful colors of lavender, and rose.
We had worked for almost two hours when everyone stopped and stared off into the distance. They stayed like that for a second and then continued with their work. They must've all got a mind link.
"What happened?"
"I just sent out a mind link telling everyone I'd like to have a pack meeting in the ballroom in an hour."
"Oh," I sighed, glad that nothing bad happened. "What for?"
"Just to go over a few things."
An hour later we had cleaned up all of our supplies as the ballroom filled up with pack members. The room was meant to hold 1,000 people, and yet everyone still crowded around the stage.
