Viviana:

About a month had passed since I was attacked by the rouges and came to the Silver Moon Pack. After I kicked Lionel's ass in boxing, I had asked Terrence when I could go back to the city to get the rest of my things. He looked absolutely perplexed at first, but he grew to be extremely excited when he realized that I wanted to stay.

When I went back to the city a week later with a small group of werewolves waiting for me at the gate, one can only imagine the abuse that I got. Once the news of my return hit the press, along with the news of the Shadow People that I brought back with me, I couldn't do a single thing without getting screamed at, having things thrown at me, or people trying to attack me.

Floods of screaming constantly came from all directions as I walked through the city. I was surrounded by so many people I couldn't get a cab or get on a bus. I was forced to walk across the city back home. People rushed at me, threw glass bottles and garbage. I could feel the hot breath of enraged strangers on the back of my neck as they grabbed at me and shouted profanities.

"Fucking traitor!"

"Terrorist!"

"Shadow whore!"

The only reason they didn't actually hurt me was because they were afraid that I had gotten my hands on some form of magic. They followed me across the city, all the way back to Nan's house. I ran inside sobbing from trying to get there for hours. We locked all the doors and windows so I could tell her about what had happened as safely as possible. After I was done telling her how I found the pack again and who Terrence really is, she smiled and told me that she wasn't surprised that I was Terrence's mate. After our talk, we looked outside to the angry mob that had formed, and I knew that Nan wouldn't be safe there anymore.

We packed our things, taking only important stuff, like clothes and a few things that belonged to Bubba. We weren't going to be able to just walk out of the house. I called a cab and told them to park as close to the house as possible. When the cab pulled up, the driver thankfully followed my advice and parked just close enough for the front door to swing open. Nan and I ran to the backseat and cried as the driver sped off and we left the house behind. The entire ride back, I wept and told Nan how sorry I was for putting her through this.

After getting back to The Borders, I was greeted with the sight of the disgusting man who saw me out the first time.

"Ah, so the whore's dragging others down with her eh?" He smirked, crumbs falling off of his face. I ignored his obnoxious comments.

"You don't need any information. We won't be back."

After the gate opened I ran to Terrence, who looked more than distraught. I had been gone almost four hours longer than I said I would be, and I brought back an extra person.

"Terrence, this is my Nan, Amada." I had said through angry tears. "She raised me. But a fucking angry mob followed me back to her house, so she wouldn't be safe staying there. It - it's okay if she comes home with us, right?"

Terrence looked down at me with such warmth. I immediately felt a wave of calm rush over me as he turned to Nan. As he walked up to her, the height difference became staggering. He was a full foot taller than her. It looked exactly like the lion and the mouse.

"Anyone who raised my mate is welcome in our home." He bent down to take her hand, and gave her one of the biggest smiles. "Amada, it is lovely to meet you."
