Part 10

It's been a week since our vacation. We were helping ezra train. We were shooting at him and he was deflecting the shots fine. He just couldn't hit the target. That's when he hits the target every single time 20 times in a row. But I could tell something was up. He suddenly just. Jolts.

He tells us he had a vision. What he said next none of us force users liked.

Ezra: We need to go to Malachor V." Well shit. We discuss it and we decided to leave tomorrow.

TimeSkip

Me, Ahsoka, Kanan, and Ezra all get into the Phantom. We leave chopper base and we jump to hyperspace.

We make it to Malachor and we land the ship. We walk out. I flip down my macrobinoculars and I look around. I zoom in and see a temple in the distance.

Me: There." I point and the others nod. We make our way there. We walk through the remains of what used to be Jedi, Mandalorians, and Sith alike. Ezra ignites an old lightsaber but the crystal dies. I then sense something. I activate my sabers and block an attack that would have cut Kanan's head off. I smash my fist into the inquisitors face and he was knocked out. But a hole opens up and Ezra falls in.

Me: Keep going Ezra." He nods. I split up from Kanan and Ahsoka. I turn a corner to see 5. Shadow Guards. These guys were the best in the Imperial Army. They all activate their lightsaber pikes. I activate my sabers. We all rush towards our opponents. For an Elite unit I was kinda disappointed with them. I cut off one guys head.

I keep blocking their attacks which was difficult due to so many sabers being swung at me but I managed. I start sending attacks of my own into the mix. They were starting to bore me so it was time to get serious. I dodge an attack and stab my saber up the jaw and through the head of another guy. I launch my sabers and they impale another two. The last guy gives a battle cry and charges me like some drunk ass Rancor.

I dodge his attack and easily snap his neck. He falls to the ground with a loud thump. Seems I've caught the Empires attention for them to send Shadow Guards after me. I guess it makes sense I did kill a very important imperial officer. Quite brutally might I add. I head back down to see Kanan and Ahsoka engaging the two inquisitors from the station. I activate my sabers and rush forward. To say I kicked ass was an understatement.

I block attacks and dodge them. I was just toying with them at this point it was quite a pathetic effort. That's when I dodge a red lightsaber thrown from behind that kills the big ugly one. Cut him in half. I spin around to see Ezra with Darth Maul.

Ahsoka: Ezra get away from him.

Maul: Ah. Lady Tano.

Ahsoka: Maul." She growls. She clearly does not like him. Maul starts to rant until he tells us his true intentions. He wanted ezra to get up to the top to activate the weapon. And become his apprentice. He then blinds Kanan. I grab him by the throat and launch him off and into an abyss. An inquisitor soon follows him after a hilarious and failed escape attempt. We run to the top to see vader himself on his Tie Advanced.

I had to admit. It was a pretty badass entrance. He jumps down and he goes after Ezra. Me and Ahsoka run for him. We each block an attack from vader. We start to fight together and he was clearly struggling. We fight as one. Slowly pushing him backwards. Ahsoka manages to get to him.

Anakin: Snips. Please. Go.

Ahsoka: I won't leave you. Not this time." His eyes turn sith yellow again.

Vader: Then you will die!" He starts attacking us with a never seen ferocity. I was easily able to block and dodge but Ahsoka was clearly struggling. She looks at me and just from looking into her eyes I knew what she wanted.

Me: No! I'm not leaving you here!

Ahsoka: Please. You and Ezra play an important role. This is my moment. Let me have it." I respect that. I nod.

Me: Ezra! Jump!" He jumps. I break off and activate my jetpack. I fly up and catch him. I land near the Phantom where chopper has it and I help him and Kanan in. I turn around to help ahsoka. But she force pushes me out.

Ezra: NOOO!!" I push him back in and we get into the Phantom. The pyramid seals shut and chopper takes off. We escape the explosion and jump to hyperspace. I punch the wall of the Phantom. I sit down and remain silent.

We get back and we see people waiting for us. I walk down the ramp. I walk to Rex and hand him Ahsoka's sabers.

Me: I'm sorry. There was nothing I could do. She pushed me away.

Rex: I know you did all you could. You need to see Sabine." This worries me and I take off into a full sprint. I run into the ghost and jump to the main level. Not bothering to use the ladder. I get into our room and I see sabine asleep with tears. I sit down on the edge of the bed and I wipe away her tears with my thumbs.

She wakes up a few minutes later and hugs me. I return the hug.

Me: I'm here. I swear.

Sabine: You kept your promise." I smile and kiss her.

Me: To you. Always.
