By the time we arrived Liss had decided to try and save herself. Christian had snuck into the rescue party, so we headed off into the woods to find her. We found her cornered by psi-hounds- so he had found us in Chicago. When I arrived, with Christian in tow, they turned on us. Christian was almost in pieces when he found the strength to burn them, before fainting.
"Rose. I have to save him." I could feel what she was asking for.
"Here," I offered her my neck. She took just enough to heal him. By the time she'd done that we were all so drained we crashed in a pile.
