Jayda Mylon
It was going on 12:15 in the afternoon. I took a deep breath and looked at myself in the mirror one last time, checking to see if I had to add anymore last minute touches.

My phone dinged, opening up the notification that Khalil texted me telling me he's outside. I texted him back letting him know that I am coming out. I grabbed my crossbody Gucci purse and headed downstairs. I started laughing to myself which I had to so I can strugg off the negative energy for the rest of the day. "Lord please let this go well." I told myself before opening the door.

After locking the door I came in full view to Khalil that's leaning on the passenger side of the door. Damn it's hot outside I said to myself. I smiled walking towards his all black Mercedes Jeep. He held a big smile on his face, like he was just too happy to see me.
"You look beautiful." He complimented me opening my door and getting myself in.
"Thank you." I thanked him and he close my door jogging on his side getting in.

He pulled off onto the road and from where I could tell so far it looked like we were headed to the beach. They have some good ass food there too. I said to myself. The car ride was pretty silent but I didn't mind because I was actually a little nervous. Khalil turned the music up and my attention drew to the song that started playing.
It Won't Stop x Sevyn Streeter ft. Chris Brown
This was my song and as bad as I wanted to just sang the song in my head I couldn't.

"I love when you pulling up in your jeep. Bumpin' all your beats. J's on, with your shades on. Just to bring me something to eat
You the man up in these streets, but when it comes to my heart..." I started singing the hell out that song and he had the nerve to turn it up louder so the whole neighborhood could here. I don't know if he was trying to let me know I couldn't sing or if he was feeling it.

"That don't mean a thing no. Baby, hop in my ride. Ooh its hot as hell outside. Got the top down. With the doors closed. With my hand up on your thigh. Drive slow, ooh, take your time." We both sang through the song. I was goofy ass hell but I loved the vibe already.

We finally arrived to the restaurant after going through traffic and waiting for the bridge. I couldn't really get the name of the restaurant, I was just hungry as hell. I was zone out into space until Khalil caught back my attention.
"Jayda? Jayda take a picture." Khalil said having his phone already ready to take the picture.
Oh shit. Ok okay. Hold on'." I said outloud getting myself together.
"Ma, you already look good as fuck. C'mon." Khalil scoff laughing.
"Alright. You can take it." I said smiling at the camera. From the corner of my eyes i could see that people were watching and I could clearly see Khalil ass smiling hard as hell showing his white teeth while taking my picture. By the way he was looking, they better have came out good.

After waiting for a good 10 minutes we were situated at our table and the waiter already took our order so that was good. I looked up at Khalil that had his hand folded together on the table making eye contact with me.

Khalil
I licked over my lips making eye contact with Jayda. Damn she so gorgeous man. I said to myself proudly which made me smile. Just by looking at her I could tell I was making her a little nervous as hell, but she had her times where she is herself and I love that.

"How your week been so far, Ma?" I asked still having my attention on to her. She let out a sign and took a sip of her water out her straw.

"It's been "Eh" I guess. It's mainly my business though, but I got everything under control so far. I got that girl straight too, but other than that it's been really good." She chuckled.

"That's good that you handling your own shit. I don't know what you been through but I'm proud of you. How long you been into business?" I asked taking a sip of my drink.
