I've been thinking hard about the conversation me and Ryan had the other day, about just moving in with him. Being his and only his. Me? Hadley Baker?

I reflected on all the years of memories I had with Ryan, and I couldn't help but smile about how much I truly did love him. We've practically been dating without dating for years, if that makes sense? He's literally my best friend aside from Anna Grace. When something good happens, I wanna tell him. When I'm sad, I want him to wrap his arms around me. Maybe moving in with him wouldn't be so bad.

I've got to tell him that I love him and that I want to be with him.

Ryan's POV
How could you be like this Melissa? I don't love you like I love Hadley, you're never going to be her to me! I screamed. "Listen Ryan, she's not the one for you, she's not woman enough for you. Sure she's pretty but she's not me. You've never given "us" a chance. We slept together one time and then you were back to Hadley in a snap. I love you, please don't do this to me." Melissa screamed back at me. "I don't think you're understanding me clearly, I will do whatever it takes to be with you Ryan Asher. I deserve to be with you. All the times Hadley rejected you and just wanted to be friends with benefits, you came to me. One night we were hammered on jack and coke and you told me that you loved me and wished Hadley would be the way you and I are to each other. You're my best friend and the love of my life!" I could hear her starting to cry as she screamed back in my ear. "Melissa, what we had was a one night stand. And it ruined our friendship because you caught feelings for me. I'm sorry that this has happened. I truly am. But I love Hadley. I'm going to marry her one day. You will find someone who will love you the way I love Hadley. And you'll understand one day." I said back to her. The conversation went silent, all I could hear were her sobs. "Fine, have it your way. But you're going to regret this!" She screamed before she hung up.

What have I gotten myself into... shit Hadley called me two hours ago and I missed her call again.

Me-hey sorry I just woke up
Hadley- couldn't have called back? Lol not want me to hear someone's voice?
Me- shut up, are you coming over or nah? I got some pancakes with your name written on them.

That girl sure does love her pancakes.

About 30 minutes later Hadley shows up. She's wearing her favorite pair of black nike shorts, her crop top white nike shirt and her chacos. Her beautiful blonde hair tied up in a messy bun. She is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen, inside and out. She doesn't even have to wear make up and she still looks like a model. "There's my girl" I say jokingly as I watch her cheeks turn red. "Are you ready for some pancakes?" I swear she looked like she was salivating.  As we sat by the fire eating breakfast, I could tell something was off about her. "What's wrong?" I asked. She shakes her head, "Hadley, you're lying to me. What's wrong? I asked again with a sterner voice. "When I was coming over here, this note was on my car. I also noticed an all black Chrysler 300 sitting outside the complex and as I started walking to it, the car sped off. There was no license plate that I could see on it either." She handed me the note, leave him or die? I was enraged at that point. I could feel the blood in my veins begin to boil. My heart started racing. "RYAN" I could hear Hadley screaming. I opened my eyes to see a scared Hadley. "Babe I'm so sorry come here" I gently grabbed her arm and pulled her into my chest.

"You've got to let her know sometime bub" my wolf said to me. I rolled my eyes and blocked him out. How can I tell her I'm the next alpha of the New Moon Pack? How can I tell her that my parents were killed by rogues? I can hear my wolf, Axon, whining in my head because I've hurt our mates feelings.

"Your eyes went black... I've never seen them do that before... why did they do that Ryan???" Hadley asks me. Shit. I can't continue to lie to her... "Hadley, there's something I need to tell you. I'm not who or what you think I am. I'm a werewolf.." she looked at me with a blank stare. "Are you shitting me right now Ryan? A werewolf? You expect me to believe this shit?" I don't think she knew how to feel, but by her reaction I couldn't tell if she was more scared or pissed off. "Show me then" I looked at her confused. "If you're a werewolf, prove it to me. I raised my eyebrow to her and asked her if she was sure. After she nodded and gave me reassurance she wouldn't run I took off my clothes. "Why are you taking your clothes off?" She giggled. "I don't want to rip them when I shift. Duh." I jokingly replied. "Oh his name is Axon." Before she could say I word my bones began to crack as I changed into my wolf.

It hurts to shift sometimes, especially since I don't shift unless I absolutely have too. I haven't shifted in a few weeks so it hurt me a little bit this time. I looked up to her and she stood there with her mouth open, tears in her eyes. I slowly took a step towards her and she backs up to the wall. "Stay" she says to me. "Sit" I do as she commands and wait for her to come to terms with what's happening. I hope she still wants to be with me after this...
