§ Ciara's Point of View §

Tumigil kami sa mansion ni Nathan. I remember seeing this in my dream. It looks the same, pero this time it was surrounded by nymphs. Nymphs are minor nature goddesses. They're lovely creatures, but they're also deadly.

It's like both sides are preparing for war. Konektado rin ba ito sa greater cause?

Mula dito, wendy escorted us inside the mansion. It looked more sophisticated and regal compared to the dream that I had. Nagtungo kami sa salas kung saan nakaupo sa pinaka sentro. He's half-naked and he was wearing something that belonged to Hades. The heirloom was attached to his chest and was giving a bright glow. Ngumisi si Nathan nang magtagpo ang aming mga mata. I fought the urge to look at him, but the heirloom was calling me, and he's wearing the heirloom. 

"Let me tell you something Ciara..." He said as he dangled the grapes at his mouth. 

"The reason why most of your kind had a hard time finding me, is that the moment they do, they die" Of course I know that, alam kong marami nang nagtangka na patayin sya but no one succeeded. They either get killed or kill themselves. 

"I'm not like them, and they're not me." I was going to lunge at him but no one stopped me.

"You can't hurt me Ciara, Dysphoria's blood runs in you. Lahat kayo." nanginginig ako sa galit. How can I forget when I'm always reminded that Dysphoria's blood runs in me, how can I forget that Hades is my father? 

"What makes you think that I can't hurt you?" hamon ko dito. Ngumisi lang uli si Nathan at tumawa. 

"You can't hurt me Ciara, you're in love with me." I felt heat surging up my system. Nagmarcha ako papunta sa kanya at sinampal ito. That's the last thing that I'd ever want to hear from him. In love with him? Nathan Castler?? He's the reason why living as Hades's kid is hard! 

"You were bound to fall in love with me the moment that you're born. Lahat kayo." Unti unting bumibilis ang tibok ng puso ko. I refuse to believe this bullsht. Nathan held my hand and planted a kiss on it. 

"Akala mo ba hindi ko napapansin yung mga titig mo? Mga lihim mong pagsulyap sa klase? Akala mo ba hindi ko napansin kung paano ka nagselos sa amin ni Aeon? Deny it all you want Ciara. I know you more that you know yourself." Binawi ko ang kamay ko kay Nathan at umatras ng bahagya. 

Naalala ko bigla ang sinabi ni Cipher sakin sa panaginip ko. "You were so in love that you didn't even notice" Noon palang pinapahiwatig na ni Cipher na si Nathan ang hinahanap ko pero hindi ko manlang nahalata! 

"Dream on." Iritable kong sinabi as he went up to his seat and went closer to me.

"I don't trust dreams you know..." Sabi nya, He smirked and quickly grabbed my hand.

"But maybe we can trust your dreams ciara. Mine'a full of bullshit."  He deserves it. Every nightmare, he deserves it. 

"What makes you think na tutulungan kita? You should have been dead. You disgust me." He planted another kiss on my hand, at nakaramdam nanaman ako ng kuryente. 

"You're going to help me, dahil buhay nila Elise ang nakasalalay dito" Elise and Seth can manage. Matalino si Elise she knows what to do. She's the most sensible person that I know. 

"They can manage" I tried to hide the fear, pero natatakot pa rin ako sa kayang gawin ni Nathan. He outlived most of my brothers and sisters. Who knows kung ano pang kaya nyang gawin. Bumalik na sya sa trono nya and smirked. He doesn't look defeated. Mukhang may tinatago pa sya na pwede nyang ipang blackmail sa akin. 

"As expected from you... Wendy, bring in the other package!" Napatingin ako kay Wendy habang binubuksan nya ang isang pintuan. I saw Cipher being held by two other supernatural creatures. Cipher was beaten up to pulp as they dragged him in front of me. His face barely noticeable dahil sa dugo at pasa. Tinignan ko nang masama si Nathan. Tila ba napako ako sa kinatatayuan ko.

He was with me at Lolo's property, he even talked to me. He was okay! 

"What do you want" Nangingilid ang luha ko as I tried to speak. I refuse to cry in front of this monster. Nakita ko ang pagbabago sa expresyon ni Nathan. This is what he wants. Me at the palm of his hands. 

"Let him go boys" agad binitawan si Cipher but I was able to catch him. He's heavier than me, but I still managed to help him up. Inakay ko sya papunta sa guest room na nakita ko sa panaginip ko. Dahan dahan ko syang inalalayan pahiga ng kama. 

Cipher was grunting in pain as I tucked him in. 

"What did they do to you?" tanong ko dito, but I didnt get any response. A few minutes later, bumukas ang pintuan ang I saw Nathan standing with a tray in his hand. May lamang first aid kid, soup at bottled water ito. He barged in and placed the tray sa table stand. 

"Since you agreed on an alliance. I'm letting you keep this one alive-- if he survives"

§ Third Person's Point of View §

Kasalukuyang nasa balkonahe si Nathan at Aeon. Malayo ang tingin ni Nathan, at bakas sa mukha nya ang pagkadismaya. 

"Does it hurt?" Tanong ni Aeon ngunit walang imik si Nathan. Bumuntong hininga lamang ito at ibinaling ang kanyang tingin sa kawalan. 

"After all these years buhay pa pala si Dsyphoria, and she's just waiting for the perfect time to strike on you. She's also working for the Gods and Goddesses to get you killed." Iniyukom ni nathan yung kamao nya, kahapon nya lang din nalaman ang katotohanang pilit itinago sa kanya ng kapalaran.

"This is the price you get for being an immortal. An endless... Pain"
