Remember when it was easy?
When dad was the toughest person in the world
When mom was our hero
All we worried about was who would be on top on the next COD match
The worst thing you could get from a girl was cooties and a few blushes
Trying not to get in trouble at school
Friends always stuck together
The only drug we knew was our bubblegum cough syrup
Now coke and sprite turns into whiskey and vodka
A cup of water is a bottle of Heineken
Milk turned into coffee
Kissing turned into sex
We breathed white frost from our mouths when it was cold outside
Now we blow the gray smoke of cigarettes and weed
Protection used to mean wearing a helmet
A girl wouldn't play and destroy your heart
We wanted to be a doctor or a lawyer
Now we have no idea what to do after high school
Remember when we wanted to grow up?
