The ceremony

🌺Kana's Pov🌺

"Mommy? Why are we going to the castle?" Melody asked as she helped Isabella in her dress. "Well daddy, ban, king, Diane, Merlin, Gowther, and hawk are getting metals for saving the kingdom" I answered while doing Rose's hair.

Melody's hair was a struggle but they all had their hair done and are wearing dresses. They ran down the stairs hearing Elizabeth. Following them was tiring for me, but walking down the stairs to see meliodas hugging the girls. "Well it's good to see you and the triplets hug more" I said.

Meliodas looked at me. Wearing an off the shoulder dress that touched the floor. "Mommy!" Isabella hugged me or at least she tried to. My pregnant belly blocked her from giving me a hug. "Wish little brother can come out so I can hug you Mommy" Isabella pout. I pat her head softly "well you girls wanted a little sibling, so no complaining now"

"Lady Kana, is it a good idea to come to the ceremony?" Elizabeth asked but only nodding. "I'll be fine, it's an honour to be the wife of a hero" I joked. "Sate Sate Sate, you helped as much kana" meliodas said as he rubbed my belly. Only being 8 1/2 months pregnant, meliodas has been a little more over protective. "More like destroyed as much" I mutter.

"Let's go outside" meliodas suggest. We all went outside but the girls wanted to play. I mostly space out and just walked to the castle. Father wanted to talk to me and he is a teacher for young mages. I walk through town and soon found my father with the King. "Kana, don't tell me you walked here?" The king asked worried but I only smiled.

"It's fine, anyway father? What do you want to talk to me about?" I asked, father sweatdropped "W-Well it's just that, the baby could have more of your demon trait? It's just that the energy is not negative but slightly heavy? I can't really explain it" father said. ('I wanted so much that the kids take more of light magic...but I guess genes decide for you')

I thought. "Kana! I've been looking for you!" Hearing meliodas. The girls immediately rush towards me full speed. But they are stopped by perfect cube, "no fair auntie Merlin!" Isabella shouted pouting. Merlin only smiled at the girls, teasing them slightly. After telling Merlin the let down the spell, Rose hugs me gently while rubbing my belly.

"Is something wrong?" I asked but only shakes her head no. "I want a little brother is all mommy" Rose said, I laughed nervously "But a younger sister would be cute, what has you been thinking that you're going to have a little brother?" I asked. Rose unintentionally used her powers on my belly and feeling a kick from the baby.

"I just have a feeling" Rose said softly. She smiled feeling a kick, meliodas notice the soft magic Rose is using. "Rose, how about you talk to Elizabeth?" Father suggested. Rose ran away to Elizabeth and asked her questions like always. Meliodas touched my belly "what's wrong?" I asked but seeing meliodas smile put my emotions at ease.

"I thought Rose was using transfer magic" meliodas answered. Merlin came and confirmed it. "I have been teaching Rose some spells but not transfer magic, it's a rare type of magic. She can transfer magic power to someone else without getting tired herself" Merlin explained. "But Rose is way too young to use that type of magic" i said. Merlin only smiled while meliodas smiled me as well.

"She could be the strongest out of the triplets" Merlin commented. But I got even more worried! As the Ceremony began, the girls and I stayed out of the line. Even if I was going to get one, I kinda destroyed some of the parts of the castle and I refused after that.  I mostly didn't pay any attention until hawk was freaking out.

"Ahhh 90,000?!?! And it's rising!!!" Hawk shouted while running behind Melody who calmly pet the pig. "Kana's power rise almost every day since she is pregnant with a child. But it should go back down around 80,000 maybe" Merlin explained. "Mommy is powerful!" Isabella cheered.

Diane explained that some knights wanted to fight me or meliodas. But of course he did it for me which I didn't mind. After everyone getting their metals, we all walked back to the tavern. The girls were really happy but a sudden energy was released and shakes the ground. Rose, Melody, and Isabella all stopped playing. Rose started to cry and it just continued with the rest.

I tried to comfort them. "Mommy! Something scary is here!!!" Rose said. Meliodas picked up Isabella while Melody hugs me. "The ten commandments" I couldn't read his expression but I know that this is bad. The Ten Commandments know about me, the demon king ordered them to try and eliminate me. Back then they feared my power, but what's bad is how I'm pregnant and the girl have to stay away from them.

Five years ago, I was attack by Hendrickson but there could be a possibility that they used Elizabeth's blood to let them free. Melody, Rosealiza, Isabella, And myself were teleported in the tavern. Meliodas was holding a sleeping Isabella, Melody and Rosealiza follow in sleep. We put them to bed, I went to the room.

I didn't know what to do. "Kana, you and the girls have to go" meliodas said. I looked at him and saw fear, he loves the triplets with his entire existence. I hugged him, being away from his children and mate isn't a good idea. "But I have to protect you, the girls and the baby. W-What if something happens?" He worried.

I couldn't tell him it was going to be alright. This is something that could cause something dangerous. "Meli, you can protect us. If it helps, I'll stay out of any fight and run away with the girls. I'll take them somewhere safe" I said. Touching my belly, meliodas was slightly shaking "I know them, they are looking for you. It's better to stay here where the sins can protect you and the girls. You're about ready to have the baby-"

"Hey, you can protect us, You will protect what you hold close to you" I said. He smiled "what would I do without you?" He whispered. I only smiled we both checked on the girls. I put the blanket on Rose but she turned and touched my belly. A wave of magic went through me and it was overwhelming.

"Kana?"

Meliodas picked me up and checked on me. "Kana? Hey! Kana! Talk to me! What happen?" He said but I closed my eyes.

Third person's Pov

Meliodas didn't know why kana went unconscious but he felt magic power from kana. He quickly left his daughters room and called Merlin, "Captain, kana only passed out due to the amount of magic power. She is pregnant and can't take a lot of magic power. But this is from rose"

Merlin explain while taking some magic from kana. "I'm guessing rose can't really control it very much" meliodas said in worry. "I'll give rose something so she doesn't transfer magic to everyone" Merlin said and kana slowly opened her eyes. Her sight was slightly blurry but went back to normal.

Seeing meliodas and Merlin, "I'll leave you both to talk" taking he leave, meliodas smiled that kana was okay. Kana got up with the help of meliodas, she waddled to the bathroom and took a bath. She dream that she was holding her baby, but after it was fuzzy. After getting dressed and ready for bed.

Kana waddled out the bathroom and went to her daughter's room. Just checking on them, going back to the room to see meliodas on the balcony. "Meli?" Meliodas turned around to see his wife. He hugged her "I don't want lose you or the girls. You all mean the world to me" meliodas said. He was scared, that he will fail to protect kana and the girls. It was the only thought that went through his mind.

Kana knew this and pulled him to the bed and pulled out a photo album. Opening it to show the sins, the triplets growing up and himself with kana. Meliodas and Kana just talked about the memories they made and that what kana did. She made him happy about his small family and she is very glad to give him something he always wanted.
