Chapter 6
Amy continued to embarrass me and I started to ignore her. She said something funny making us both laugh. I looked over to where Clyde was showing a few girls the right move. He placed his hand on one of the girl’s waist, which cause me to frown. Ok, why was I frowning, it’s not like I like him...right?
I mean, I can’t even stand the guy, he just a womanizing jerk, who could care less how the girl feels after he uses and dumps them. And he’s a killer. It doesn’t matter that every time he touches me or even looks at me my body goes up in flame, that’s just my hormones speaking, right? I should definitely stay from him. Shouldn’t I?
I was startled out of my thoughts by one of the Bs, Brianna to be precise, who had an evilly sweet smile on her plastic face.
“Do you think that rubbing your flat chest all over Clyde will get him to like you? Well, news flash sweetie, he likes a little something to hold on to. Sweet little Juliet, you should get out of the kitchen before you get burn. Clyde’s only going to Screw you and dump you, and you might just have to kill yourself like your sister did.”
My hand came up so fast, slapping her across the face.
“Don’t you ever talk about my sister again, you hear me?”
My voice was low and menacing. My entire body was vibrating with rage, her words working its way through me. Everyone was looking at us now. Clyde started making his way over, Amy held me back from lunging at Brianna.
Clyde approached us, “What’s going on?”
Brianna threw herself into his arms. Putting on the water works. “She just slapped me.” Brianna fake cried dramatically.
Amy snorted, “Not hard enough.” I pushed away from Amy, wanting to get the hell away from there. I started walking towards the double doors, but stopped when Brianna said.
“Coward, just like your sister.”
The rage that come over me was monstrous. I turned and my eyes zoned in on my target. I rushed to her screaming. I was snatched out of the air as I was about to jump on her and give her the beating of her life. I was kicking and screaming to be let go, but Clyde was not giving in. He held me until I calmed down, breaking into a fit of tears. I was sobbing hard, shaking with it. And I kept saying “It’s not fair. It’s not fair.” over and over again.
Clyde held me, said something to Amy, who then left the room. A few minutes after, Sanity and Dillon came running in. I broke away from Clyde and ran to them. They both took me in their arms.
Sanity asked in a soothing voice, “What happen?”
Dillon picked me up, and carried me over to one of the empty sofas in the room, and sat with me curled up in his lap crying.
Dillon was rubbing my hair, trying to calm me. “Tell us what happen Juliet, please? I can’t stand to see you crying like this.”
I opened my mouth, but no words came out. Every time I thought about it I got angrier. They waited until I was able to speak.
“M-Mary. Brianna called Mary, a c-coward.” My voice sounded so hoarse and thick with emotions. I almost believe it didn’t come from me.
Dillon curse, under his breath, and Sanity turned hate filled eyes on Brianna and the rest of the Bs.
“You insensitive, vile creature. Do you even know what happened to her sister?”
Sanity was shaking with her own rage now. She took a step closer to the Bs who looked a bit scared.
“Mary, her sister, was raped, beaten and left for dead. She took her own life to escape the nightmares she was having. Every night she had to relive being raped and beaten again and again.” Sanity was so close to Brianna, her breath was touching her face as she spoke.
“So, don’t you dare call her a coward, Got it?”
The room was dead silent, everyone was looking from me to Sanity and back. Sanity came back over to me, she looked at Dillon and said,
“Let’s go.”
I got up off of Dillon’s lap and stood on wobbly feet. Everything started spinning and I began to fall. Clyde’s strong arms came around me catching me before I fall. With his arms around me, I felt so safe, as if nothing bad can get me. I started to lean into him, when Dillon grabbed me away from him, saying in a chilled voice.
“Don’t touch her, I’ve got this.” He scooped me in his arms and we left the room.

“Juliet Bonnie Daniels, give me back my red dress now!”
I was hiding under Mark’s bed trying not to laugh, while he was lying on it pretending like he didn’t know where I was. Mary stormed in.
“Where is she Mark, I know you’re hiding her.”
I can only guess that, Mark was giving her his Puppy dog innocent look. Mary grunted in frustration.
“Don’t give me that look Mark, I know you know where she is.”
Mark sighed, “Sorry sis, I just can’t sell out one sister to the other, even if we are twins.”
Mary stomped her feet and screamed, “UGH! I hate you.” storming out the room. Mark shouted after her, “Yeah, I love you too sis!”
I came out from under the bed when she was gone, and sat on the bed beside Mark. He put his arms around me and kissed my hair, “You know you have to give it back, right?”
I pouted my lips, “I know, but I don’t have to like it.”
Mark chuckled, “No. You definitely don’t.”
My shoulder slumped and I signed. Mark turned me to face him, “Hey, what’s wrong with you kiddo?”
I sighed again and said in a sad tone, “Why does she want to go that stupid party. Why can’t she stay home with me? Mom and Dad are going on their date, Jenny’s sleeping over at Margret’s and you’ve got a game. Why do I have to be home alone, I’m gonna be bored to death.”
Mark chuckled again, “Did you even asked Mary to stay with you, or did you just hide her dress in hopes that she wouldn’t find it and stay?”
I felt the guilt weigh on me as I answered, “Um, I just hide it.”
“Well, why don’t you go try asking her?” I muttered an “Ok” and left his room.
I miss them so much and it hurts so much to think about them. Why did they have to die? It’s all my fault, if only I hadn’t been so selfish. I’m so sorry Mary.
