"C'mon!" Mommy said, grabbing my hand tightly. We ran into the airport to see a cluster of people running "Fuck." Mom mumbled. She picked me up, worried I would've let go of her hand and get lost. "Mommy...I'm scared." I said as tears ran down my cheeks, I gripped onto moms shirt harder. Mom tried to walk through the cluster of people, but only got pushed around. Mom accidentally let go of me, I fell down to the ground. "Mommy?!" I screamed, I couldn't see mom no more. "Help, Help! I can't find my mommy!" I said turning to any adult that would pass by me. I ran away from the cluster, "Mommy!" I screamed again. "Run! Go! There is a gas leak!" I heard, "Mommy?!" I screamed again. BOOM! Everything went white. I woke up to see the whole entire airport was destroyed, I got up. "C'mon, kid!" A man said running, "Your gonna die here if you don't start runnin'!" The man said. I grabbed his hand making him stop "What?" He said, confused. "I can't find my Mommy!" I said, scared. "Fine," The man picked me up.

We ran away from the airport, "So, what's your name?" The man asked, placing me down. "Aaliyah.." I answered with a smile. "Well, Aaliyah, I'm Pete.." He said, catching his breath. "I want my mom. I'm scared. Can we go look for her?" I said, "We can't right now," he said, still catching his breath. "Look kid, we'll go find your mom later okay," he said as he put his hands on his hips "But we need to go, it's dangerous out here, who knows what could happen." He said, I nodded "Up. Up." I reached my hands up to him. "Sweetheart, my back is busted from all that runnin'. Plus, I already carried you and I'm gettin' too old to be carrying kids like you." He said, "Okay." I said. I held his hand and started walking, "I need to warn my nephew about this." He mumbled "Isn't he suppose to be here? Everyone went to the airport." I said looking up at him. "No, no. He said he didn't believe this bullshit that's happening right now, and he was hanging out with his little pal Luke.. Probably getting wasted. " he said, concerned.

Pete knocked on the door, a while later the door opened to see a old woman. "What do you want Pete? I told you Ni--" "Olivia, haven't you seen the news?! There's fucking people eating each other!" Pete said, "Yes, I did. In the news they said it will be fine, that the military will take care of it." She snarled crossing her arms. " Would you really trust that? Do you see the military taking care of this shit?!" Pete angrily said. "Look we need to take Nick-- everyone to a safe place!" "And you think you can do anything you want with my son, Pete?" She huffed. "You've always been a dumbass." She glared at Pete, then looked at me "Who's she?" She asked, arching a brow "I found her, her names Aaliyah, she lost her mom." "Hi, Aaliyah.." She said with a small smile. " Hi." I said. "Look, please just tell me where Nick is at?" Pete asked, wanting to get it over with. "Yeah, right. Like Imma tell you two where my son is!" she slammed the door in Pete's face. Pete sighed, "Sorry about that. We don't really get... Along." Pete told me, I nodded and said "I can see.".
