Chapter 10; The Bleeding

Welp one year anniversary of this book and I still haven't finished it :/
Uhhhh........Happy late Halloween??
And Merry Christmas??

Also there is blood in this chapter, I'll put a warning where it starts and ends for those uncomfortable with blood.

Ken and Daigo's POV;

The boy's walking was starting to get to them.
They were both starting to get tired and hungry.
At some point they tried to call their friends but their phones had no signal, it would also sometimes die out of nowhere.
It was strange since a lot of other people they walked by had their phones out and making calls.
They probably just had a better company though.

It was really late. So the boys just sat on the ground to take a breather.
Daigo grabbed some candy and offered some to Ken.

Both sat there with little conversation.
At some point Daigo started to get really sleepy. He closed his eyes for what felt just like a second.
Darkness and sleep came and took Daigo like a warm blanket.

When he woke up, there was no one.
It was just darkness.
He felt something brush against him
When he looked down, a white cat was rubbing up against him.
He bent down to pet it and the cat purred back in response.

"Where are we?"

The cat said nothing. Well it was a cat after all....they can't talk
It started to circle around him and purr.
Daigo sat down as the cat got on his lap.
Then he felt something wet.

He looked at the cat and saw a bit of red on it. Paint perhaps?
He tried to pick it up to see but the sudden movement startled the cat. It go off of his lap and ran into the darkness of the void.
He quickly got up and raced after it.

In the darkness, he couldn't really tell if he was even moving anywhere. He could feel his feet hitting the ground and moving.
But it felt like he running in place or in slow motion.

He finally hit something.
Well he actually was hit face first into some kind of barrier.
He fell to the ground with a hurting nose.
He held his nose and felt dripping.
He took a hand away to see it dripping with blood.

He wiped his face with his sleeve.
As he did, the cat appeared again.
It went through the barrier somehow.
Like it had opened for it.
Daigo ran to the spot where the cat had been.
He reached towards the barrier with his hand and felt nothing.
He took a step forward and his hand went right through.
He took a few more until all of his body was across.

⚠️BLOOD WARNING⚠️

The cat sat on the other side.
As if it had waited for him.
He looked past the cat and he could feel himself trying to steady himself.
His breathing.....he was hyperventilating..
The cat went forward towards where Daigo was starring.

There was blood everywhere.
So much glistening, dark blood.
It was all over the floor in small and big puddles.
But was worse were the bodies that blood belonged to.....lying on the ground....ripped to shreds... yet you could still tell who they belonged to..

Valt.

Shu.

Ken.

Hancho.

Wakiya.

Daigo could feel tears in his eyes as he fell to his knees.
He tried to wipe them away but they continued.
He suddenly felt something hard in his sleeves.
He pulled out to see a bloody knife on him.
He threw it away as far as he could.
