Team PMSE: RWBY x OC team

Not our problem

  It had been nearly six weeks since they had arrived, almost a week after the start of the second semester, things had begun shifting around and no longer were the young students settling in. A few friendships had formed and a beautiful relationship between Professor Ozpin and his coffee cup was flourishing... much to the disturbance of everybody around him.

  Team BUSH had been busy as well, slipping around and gathering intelligence, seeking out the ones who sought to destroy Beacon... or all of Vale perhaps. So far... they had absolutely nothing to go on beyond the lead they were given by Winter and Ironwood when they had sent them to this rather nicely climated kingdom. 

  Umber walked down the hall late at night, humming softly as she looked from door to door of the dorm building, not quite sure where to look, she felt like she was in an episode of Scooby-Doo... an incredibly boring and uneventful episode of Scooby-Doo where she hadn't even heard tell of the monster waiting to be unmasked, but an episode of Scooby-Doo nonetheless. She looked ahead at the sound of a door opening followed by two sets of footsteps, the figures of two of the more refined girls of the academy, Esmeralda and Weiss moving towards her down the hall.

  The rather average member of the incredibly popular team BUSH folded her hands together with plenty of nervous tension all over, not really the best at keeping secrets. So instead of trying to hide things she just waved and said "Hi!" 

  As she frowned at her own social awkwardness the two girls looked to each other and then back to Umber, Weiss speaking up first "Ummm, hello? Umber right?" the ice queen bit her lip as this gods awful moment of stagnation filled the air "Sooo... what did you want?"

  Umber blushed and hid her face behind her hands "Oh, I was uhhhh just wandering around, nothing much, nothing at all, just wandering around is all... so... what are you up to?" she tried to relax, not wanting to come off as suspicious... or weird 

  Esmerelda was in quite the confused state, not quite enjoying this detour, why was it that wherever she went people like this had to just start coming out of the woodworks, it was like she had a magnet for them in her back pocket or something "We were just off to get some coffee. In town. Far. Far away from here, so we'll see you later. Or not. Probably not." She grabbed Weiss' hand and started walking quickly with the Ice Queen in tow, following the oh so natural instinct to escape this awkward feeling the girl gave her

  She mumbled to Weiss "Are all famous people that strange?"

  Weiss shook her head and started walking on her own, taking back her hand "No, but she was coming off way too much like Penny. Wonder if she's okay." she glanced back with a bit of worry on her face

  "In the famous words of so many people, not our problem." She led Weiss into the elevator and closed it

  Meanwhile, Umber just stood there and twiddled her thumbs together, sniffling for a moment as she began walking back to her team's dorm "They think I'm weird..."
