Chapter 11

"Tsk" I was already in a bad mood but to have to deal with this I thought as Kaname stood in front of me his eyes watching my every move.

 'What is it this time, I wish to go let father know that I'm back' my words rang in his mind as he closed his eyes and leaned back. 

"This afternoon after class I will discuss a matter about Zero. I will request for him to be transferred unto the night class" I tensed ever so slightly. Mentally cursing him to a painful death I turned away, 

'You had told me before or did you forget. It's a matter that can't be helped but father has the final word' I crossed my arms over my chest looking at him expectantly. Finally, after the long pause he answered, "I was just reminding you. Also it is only right that he is put under my care"

'That is not my concern, will that be all ?' he walked past me stopping short off my shoulder before speaking "Yes and thank you for your time, Rin" watching him walk off I headed towards father's office trying to get rid of all the thoughts. 

 "Father I'm back" the door swung open quickly as exaggerated tears rolled down his cheeks before he pulled me into a hug sobbing on my arm. "My dear son I'm so happy" blinking as he walked towards his desk I sighed and took a seat. "It is still early but please say you will come have breakfast with us all I have an important announcement to make" he all but begged "Of course I do love your food, papa" "Well than see you there, go on and freshen up"

"You are telling me that you called us at the break of dawn for this" Zero complained holding his chopsticks towards his mouth with a grumpy face before deadpanning at Yuki. 

'I think it is worth it' I gave my opinion while munching on a rice ball. My favorite. 

Both the others turned towards Rin with both blushing at her cuteness while eating as she completely ignored them. His face is so handsome and beautiful, Yuki thought as Rin had removed her mask to eat not caring; although Zero had seen in many times. "You are so messy, honestly what are you a child?" Zero rhetorically asked as he reached out to wipe the rice that had stuck to her face unintentionally covering part of her face as Kaien took a 'commemorative picture'. 

"What is up with you today huh?" Zero growled out while turning back to his food. "Today is special you will perform your duties not as guardians, but as full fledge members of the disciplinary committee making it a day to commemorate" "HUH!?"

'Hello, I'm just here to inform you about the surprise inspection just a heads up. Headmaster wished it to be this way so goodbye' "I see thank you, Rin" she waved her hand in dismissal before catching a small dagger that was thrown her way, 'Thanks for the gift, but I don't like it' she sent it back hearing a small intake of breath before closing the door to the night dorms.

"Ruka you okay?" she only nodded holding her cheek that the dagger had missed by inches however small strands of her hair had been cut and lay on the carpet floor. "He has quite the aim, I truly fear for those on her execution list" "Shinki is right although I've felt that he holds back not once has he showed us his abilities" "Yes but I cannot do anything he is solely under Headmaster's care not mine" Kaname responded calmly before walking off to confront Aido. 

Meanwhile the three went through the day class dorms inspecting them and confiscating anything that wasn't allowed. "Not allowed" "No!?" "Not allowed" "Why??" 'Zero I'm bored can't we just let them have all this stuff it will cause more problems later on?' "No, besides aren't you bothered by them having pictures of you?" 'No' grabbing her hand Zero dragged her out towards a tree taking a seat with her leaning against him. "Rin, I am scared of what will happen later on, what if I lose who I am and become a bloodthirsty monster?" he asked looking at the pack of blood tablets in his hand. Although before she could answer Yuki came "Aha are you skipping from job, both of you" shoving the pills in his pocket he stood up helping Rin and walking ahead answering over his shoulder, "We already finished" "Oh..okay" rubbing his arm to calm him down Zero's attention shifted to her as his eyes soften and he huffed looking away in an attempt to keep his cool.

"Hey Rin how are the night dorms; I've never been there?" 'They are almost the same as the day class. However we each have our dorm unless Kaname put you in pairs or you ask to be with a roommate' "Oh, still I'm so nervous" 'Hmm' walking up to the entrance they stopped to be let in by the gatekeeper 'Hi again' "Oh back so soon, go on ahead you are all with the disciplinary committee no?" giving a nod both Rin and Zero walked ahead with Yuki trying to keep up before she stood in front of them both hands on her hips. "Before we go in, I want to know what you put in your pocket Zero?" his eyes opened wide 'She saw' 

"Its none of your concern, Yuki" "As a member of the discipli-Ahh!?" reacting quickly Rin steadied them both by placing her hands on Zero's back however this gave Yuki the chance to take what he had. "Guess I have it now. What is this medicine?" she asked cluelessly. Rin took it from her and shoved in her pocket before Zero took her wrist and stomped away, "Just leave me alone!?" he nearly screamed as his grip tighten yet Rin remained unfaced and followed after him, both ignoring Yuki's calls. 

Zero calm down, come on let's go eat" going into his favorite restaurant they both ordered as Zero kept his head down the whole time. 'I'll go look for Yuki, reports of Level E's roaming have been given to father. Stay here and eat, kay?' she ruffled his hair playfully before laughing lightly as he glared at her with his hair disheveled. Turning to the door she heard him faintly wish her luck. "I'll be fine okay"

Running to where I heard her scream I came to stop before a church, on the ground I could see the blood 'Dammit, Zero will come here due to her scream what a pain' Taking out my weapon I fought against one it being a man before a woman soon followed but her attention was drawn to someone else. 'Honestly you were supposed to stay put dummy' "Hn" pointing his gun to the Level E; I could see him hesitate, Zero I thought sadly before the vampire stopped and smirked "One of us, ha-ha. One of us" "Shut up!?" ignoring him for now I jumped to the top and entered the room with the bell seeing Yuki holding back the child back before throwing him and standing in front of her protectively. 'How sad that this is what you turned into' it stood up once more and I shot at it missing any vital point. Kaname will deal with the rest.

'Hurry and kill him'  I demanded him as he stood a little away from us his face being clam yet I could see his anger. "Why don't you go to your friend, Rin" ignoring his comment I disappeared before standing before Zero. "Come on let's go home" I carried him back but he pushed me away before entering papa's office. "I'll be fine just leave me alone" turning to the door I sighed 'Okay' and walked off towards father's office but sensed Kaname so I walked off and laid in the grass. 

"Why am I always hurt so easily? Why do I bother caring for anyone when they will hurt me in the end" Just like Kaname and my family. I

 sat  up quickly having sensed the shadows stirring, heading their call I  melted into them. They guided me towards the disturbance, my worry increasing as I sensed the familiar presences; Yuki and Zero
