"EREN!" levi cried, searching among the demolished town for the brunette. He had seen eren get struck down my a titan, but not eaten, so it was certain that his body was somewhere here no Ackerman, not his body, Eren is here he told himself, throwing up different planks of wood and stones trying to uncover him, but no sign..

"E-eren?!"

He cried again, his voice beginning to crack..the tears preparing to flow.

"Captain levi sir!"

A scout called out, levi ignored her as she tapped him on the shoulder, he slapped her hand away and dropped to his knees..

"A-ah? ..captain..?"

"..ive lost everything.."

"Captain..they've found Eren Jaeger.."

At the mention of his name, levi is up on his feet, he orders her to show him his whereabouts, as she does.

Eren lay broken, coughing blood..but not crying..his body covered in cuts and blood..yet he didnt flinch..this concerned levi greatly as no human being was that resistant..unless they were dead..

"Eren!"

Levi called out, getting a weak sideways glance from eren..he smiles a little at the sight of the captain, seeing Levi always made Eren smile, levi kneels down by Eren's side, staring at his wounds in horror..

Eren insists that he's alright and that he can walk on his own, Levi yells at him, telling him not to be so stupid and that he's clearly injured and its definitley not a risk worth taking. Eren smiles..He knew Levi was worried about him, it was evident in his eyes, undeniably..eren had fallen in love..after the way he comforted him with mikasa and armin's death..that hug, the light kiss on the forehead..levi didnt know that eren knew about that kiss, or the adorable things levi whispered in french to him..how cute..so it was well known that levi and eren were in love..but one didnt know that the other liked him..that was levi..levi had been in love with eren since first meet..his looks caught him first, then his personality left him falling harder..yet he was oblivious to eren's clear feelings.

They have eren ride on Levi's horse, eren leaned his head against levi's back, his arms wrapped tightly around his waist..he fell in and out of conciousness constantly,fighting the bloodloss ti stay alive..for his sake..

For levi's sake..

Eren lay motionless in a hospital bed..his skin was pale, scratches littered his body, bandages wrapped around him practically everywhere..Levi's heart ached at the sight..but he kept his composure..leaning against the wall facing the ground, arms crossed and fighting tears..

What if i had protected him? He wouldnt be in this situation..god damn it eren i love you..please for gods sake you brat dont die on me!

Not many people were looking to see eren either..most if the ones close to him had died..if you consider levi close, he was the only one. He was alone with eren, so he sits at the side of his bed..grips his hand tight and whispers sweet nothings to him..about how much he matters and means to him..how beautiful he is..brave..levi was basically confessing..

"I love you, Eren Jaeger.."

A small kiss on the forehead..a small thing that sent levi's heart skipping..but to look at him and see him laying still hurt..the rising and falling of eren's chest was the only way to know if he was alive..god its hard to watch.
