I woke up scared out of my mind. Why? Well, it's in the name (New School) and I felt like I would fall. My legs felt all mushy and shit it was so weird. Well, let me take you back ,"by the way I'm Claire Underwood.
"Claire come downstairs or you will miss breakfast." Said Mom.
"Coming ." I said as I walked downstairs. Claire comes downstairs in a red boy's top and light blue flooded jeans. "This looks good ma Thanks!"
"Is that what you're wearing to school?" Mom asked."uh i stuttered."Yeah, I guess. "Well, I hope you don't come home and never want to go to school again because of something you wore."Mom said harshly.
"Why the hell would i never want to come to school again because of wearing a pair of jeans and a shirt. I said, irritated. "I gotta go see you after school. I said as I gave my little Sister cay lee a hug.
"Oh my gosh Redfield Academy was so big i thought i was gonna get lost in an instant."Um, do you know where the auditorium is."i asked as someone walked by. "Get lost," the girl said when I asked. I was about to give up and leave when two girls walked up to me and said, "Hi im Renee this is Stefanie, you look lost. "I didn't know what to say. " Uh Hi im Claire, Claire Underwood yeah i am lost im trying to find the way to the Auditorium.
"Well silly its right this way follow me. Renee said happily.
"We sat through a 2 hour long lecture from Principal Robin about how we can move as a school and community. She talked about a lot of other things but i kind of Zoned her out after 5 minutes.
"i came home around 3 and saw my mom on the floor with a Hennessy bottle in her hand while my sister was running around with toilet paper. "The house was a wreak.
"What the hell, mom, what are you doing? "Claire cay lee says crying. I now see that she has a cut on her left arm and it is bleeding badly. "What the fuck mom, what did you do get up. " I was about to call the hospital but i knew i shouldn't because who knows what would happen to my mom if I did. "I went into the bathroom and got the bandages and alcohol. "What are you doing Claire? Mom says with an equal amount of tiredness and depression."What you should be doing ! I yell . She gets up in attempt to smack me but is to drunk to have a steady stand.
"cay lee are you okay I ask worried. " Yes. " cay lee says while sniffling. "Mom what happened? I asked impatiently " Nothing ! " Nothing! my sister has a cut that's so deep she cant even go to school tomorrow. "You don't tell me were the fuck my baby can and cant go!" She screams at me. "If that's your baby maybe you should start acting like a mother" I Yell back. "This time she doesn't miss and smack's me right in my face. "I take my crying sister and run to my room and quickly slam the door. I cant stand her.
" I scream in my pillow for a full minute then turn to my sister who in turn runs in my arms there we eventually fall asleep tired from all the screaming and crying.
"Shit im late! I practically scream when i see the time i let my sister sleep because she had a long day yesterday. "Me and mom don't talk at all when i come downstairs its like we want to say something but are to afraid it will turn into a fight.
December 3 month's later
"Hey Claire Stefanie yells from across the street while im walking to school. " Hey I say to Stefanie directing it to Renee on accident. " So my birthday is in 3 days Stefanie beams while saying. I guess that explains the wide eyed smile she was wearing when i crossed the street . Happy birthday I say faking my happiness.
"So what are you doing for your birthday was the first thing Paige asked when we got to school.
"She is obviously having a party Renee said rolling her eyes at Paige. "Well yeah im having a party but i also wanted to have a sleepover it would only be you three "Stefanie said with a smile But im inviting someone new im inviting Melody. " the nerd girl Paige said with a questioning look.
" Duh lets go ask her Renee says while walking her way.
"Hey Melody " Paige says while looking at Melody up and down. "Uh hi why are you talking to me you hated me since the 6th grade."Well Hun we stopped hating you so wanna come to my sleepover?
