It happened when I was 16, I remember waking up and going to school like every other day, that day was perfect because the guy I had a crush on asked me out, His name is Sunny, well at least that's what they called him, His real name was Lance. He asked me on a date for the first time everything felt right, it felt as though the universe was working in my favor. I did all the usual things I always did. Then I saw it, a blue butterfly, and my friend chantel said something that caught my attention " Delilah did you know it's said that a single flap of a butterfly's wings can cause a hurricane on the other side of the world." I laughed I had never heard that. "Sure Channy." She shook her head. "Wouldn't it be crazy if that was true?" I smiled "Yeah pretty crazy." It was like she knew what she was talking about because the events that followed after that Butterfly had flapped it's wings caused total fucking chaos. There was a white blur and I remember nothing but Darkness covering the land. I opened my eyes and saw chantel laying there completely decomposed. I got up and ran back towards the school. I walked inside the school everyone was pretty much dead, I dropped to my knee's, what happened, I walked through the school, it was dark there was no power in the school. "Hello, is anyone still here?" I said aloud but I felt as thought no one would respond back. "help..." I heard someone in the far distance "help....help..hel..." I started walking towards the voice. I turned the corner to find none other than Sunny, covered in broken board and debris."Del...delilah... is...is that you?" He got out with very deep breaths. "Oh my God, Sunny." I lifted the boards off of him. He was injured so badly he couldn't even move. I grabbed the first aid kit from the hallway. I took out the gauze, and bandaid. "Hold on this is going to hurt a little." I cleaned up his cuts, and bandaged him up. "Thanks." "No problem." Silence was strong between us for a whole forty-five minutes. "So? Do you know if anyone else survived?" I shook my head. "Well I guess it's just us lilah." We got up to head out of the classroom. We heard screaming, I looked at Sunny with my finger over my mouth. "HELP!" I closed the door slowly, I was peaking through the cracks. "HELP! ITS GOING TO KILL ME! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!" then we heard the growling noises. I saw this big bald creature tear apart a girl, it was the most horrific thing I've ever seen. Tears rolled down my cheek, If we are going to survive this we need weapons, but we also need a mode of transportation. "Sunny, please tell me you drive." He smiled. "Do I drive?" "Yes, now is not the time for games." "Yes I drive." "Where is your car at?" I looked at him with hope in my eyes. "In the parking lot." I felt relieved. "That's great we need to go now before that creature comes back." I grabbed his hand and we slowly creeped out the door and down the stairs and to the parking lot. "Where is your car parked?" I frantically looked around "Its right there." I sighed in relief. "Please hurry up and get us the fuck out of here." He started the car, and we drove off to his home. "What did you see Delilah?" I shook my head. "It was this creature it was huge, bald and had sharp teeth sunken eyes and these sharp ass nails. It grabbed the girl and just ripped her apart, it was horrific I never want to see that again." I looked out the window, watched as most of the plants were dead and everything was pretty much destroyed by the blast. "Hey we are here." I looked at the house, the paint was chipped. I wonder if anyone is still alive.
