Abby shouted as her girlfriend, Skylar jump out at her.
"GODDAMN IT SKYLAR" the girl cursed and hit her girlfriend on the arm. Angela laughed as Skylar was beat up by Abby.
"Calm down, You're being to loud" Keito teaser her. "Y'all are so rowdy" Grassie said chuckling. "YO HOES" Ally shouted jumping on the group, Maliyah behind her.
"Hi!" Skylar said. "WE SHOULD BUY WHOLE BAGS OF CANDY!" Keito said shouting. "HELL YEAH!" Angela cheered.
They walked along the highway in the afternoon and talked loudly. AJ randomly shouted "RACE YALL" Then took off. "NO FAIR!" Abby shouted running after her.
The whole group was racing along the streets until they made it to the local target and panted.
"What- The- fuck" Ally panted, leaning on the wall. "Yeah!" Angela complained. "Aw come on losers, whose buying?" Maliyah asked. "I'll buy" Abby said rummaging in her bag.
They grabbed the candy and payed. "Back to my apartment?" Abby asked swinging skylars hand like a typical couple, Skylar nodded.
"Let's drive this time" AJ suggested "Who's car?" Grassie asked "Doesnt Ivan have a car?" Angela said, "Yeah, Lemme call him" Grassie said pulling out her fancy IPhone 11 pro, (lmao I wish) and called him wandering off.
Ally and Abby sat together on a bench , they scrolled on their phones and laughed. Skylar, Maliyah and Keito ate the candy. Angela and AJ sat on the curb talking quietly. "He's on his way" Grassie announced proudly, "Awesome" Ally said.
A black van pulled up and the window rolled down "Get in losers" Ivan said with sunglasses on. "Shut up" Abby laughed and climbed in the back, with Skylar and Maliyah.
They talked about random topics until they pulled into Abby's drive way. She got out and noticed her neighbor staring at her with dead eyes. "Hey your neighbors are scary" Ivan said. "Thats Mr. Storans" Abby said "He's a war veteran and has really bad PTSD" She said running a hand through her dark hair.
"Hey open the door!" Lara said "Oh shit yeah" She tossed Ally her house keys and walked with Ivan after closing her house gate. They put the bags on the table, then plopped in the couch and turned on the tv.
"Let's have a sleep over!" Keito suggested happily "Sure Just don't go fucking everywhere" Abby said pointedly. "Shut up" Skylar pushed her gently.
T I M E S K I P
A creek in the middle of the night sounded throughout the quiet house, then foot steps. Mr. Storans grinned maniacally at his neighbors house, the lights were off, He assumed everyone was asleep.
"They're the enemy" He said and slid his gun out of the handle. He went out his house and stalked to the house. Noticing a rock outside the house, he grabbed it and threw it with all his might.
A scream echoed in the quiet neighborhood as glass shattered in Abby's house. "What the hell was that?!" Abby exclaimed in a panic, AJ bolted up and ran throughout the house turning on all the lights.
"Everyone wake up!" AJ shouted running into the living room holding a knife. "Why the hell do you have a knife!" Lara shouted scrambling back. "Someone's trying to break in, I grabbed several. One for each of us" Abby said passing a cloth around.
"Grab one, Ill go lock the doors" Abby said holding a sharp knife. She dashed out the room and down the stairs.
A scream alerted the group upstairs of the danger. "Abby?" Skylar shouted, standing with Ally. "Let's go check on her!" Maliyah said, they ran down the stairs with their knifes and phones.
It was bright and they saw Abby struggling with her old neighbor next door. "Stop!" Ally shouted tackling the man, Abby gasped for air and pulled Ally back. "Call the police" She panted.
He grinned as he pulled out the sleek black gun. "Oh shit" Skylar said backing away. The rest of the group creeped down the stairs, behind the man. "Run" Maliyah mouthed to the group.
Iván didnt listen, he barreled in to the man and he pinned him down. "Careful!" Abby shouted, but of course it was too late.
The shots fired and they ran out the door, majority of them lost their weapons and only Grassie, Keito and AJ had theirs.
"Ivan.." Angela said staring at the house. "I'm sorry Angela, but we gotta go to the police" Aliyah said panting. "We don't have the keys, and Ivan was the only one who could drive." Keito said worriedly.
"Well run then, I did track" Abby said rolling her back. "Are you sure?" Skylar asked "Yeah" Ally said "SHIT" Maliyah screamed as more bullets rained down on them, one hit her leg.
"GO!" Grassie shouted, Abby and Ally grabbed the injured girl and ran as fast as the could. Maliyah groaned in pain as they sprinted through the streets.
A thud behind them. Angela glanced back and saw Skylar laying face down, her hand outstretched to Abby. "FUCK" Grassie shouted and pulled Angela faster. "STOP FUCKING SHOOTING AT US ASSHOLE" Abby shouted out of instinct.
Maliyah went limp in their arms as a final bullet went through her chest. "Im sorry Maliyah" Abby said tearing up, and they set their friend down by a tree. She had lost her life the moment the bullet hit.
They ran faster and Abby cried, tears flying out her eyes as she raced on the streets. "HURRY!" Keito shouted at them, they made it to the police station.
She gave Lara and Aliyah a final push and heard a 3rd thud behind her. Dreading who she was gonna see, she turned slowly. She sobbed seeing her friend Ally on the floor, blood bubbling out her head.
She pushed the doors open and closed them behind her, her friends already explained and now the officers were ready to restrain the old man.
"I'm so glad you're okay" she sobbed hugging her friends tightly.
Angela bolted up drenched in sweat, "Bad dream?" Abby asked gently, glancing at her. She rubbed her eyes and saw Ally, Ivan, Skylar and Maliyah all alive. Alive and breathing.
"W-Wa?" She stuttered "Bad dream" Grassie concluded chuckling, ruffling her hair.
"Yeah, a bad dream "
