Karma is still asleep in her room. She is dreaming about the day she and her students had to flee over and over again. She hear the blaster bolts shooting pass her head and keeps looking back for something, but what. She wakes up with a shock, something about that dream was different this time. She puts it in the back of her mind. She looks out the window and sees rain. She gets dressed and gets her lightsaber, she doesn't feel safe without it. She opens the door and sees one of her padawans, Clara, standing there. She smiles and says, "I was sent to wake you, it is lunch time and Chief Chi wants you to come and eat." Karma smiles and says, "Well, lets not keep her waiting." They start walking down the hallway, Clara telling her what has been happening since this morning. "Chief Chi has been doing research on the new threat. Apparently, it started on one of the outer rim planets and spread from there. She didn't tell me anything else. Oh, also, we have been behaving, until 20 minutes ago, we were helping in the village, making stronger defences, farming, getting things ready for the threat if it tracked us here." Karma listens to this and thanks Clara for the information. They walk down the staircase and pass the dinning room to the library. Karma sees Chief Chi with her padawans, supervising them as they got books to read. Chief Chi looks up and smiles. Karma walks down to her, hugs her and says, "Thank you for watching my padawans. I was told that they behaved for you." Chief Chi nods her head. She says, "Clara was the one that reminded me that you were asleep and that it was lunch time.  She really cares about you." Karma nods and looks at Clara now reading a book with a few other girls. "Clara was the first padawan I rescued. She was living on Tatooine, abandoned there. She was outside one of the taverns with a cup of coins, begging. I tested her, threw a coin about 5 feet form her. She heard it and used the force to get it. It was quite impressive, a girl with no past and no future now has a future again." Karma looks at the rest of her students and  smiles to see them happy. The clock chimes noon and everyone puts away their books and follow Chief Chi and Karma to the dining room. Chief Chi, Karma, and the padawans are eating when a guard enters and whispers to Chi. She then whispers to Karma, "We have to finish eating quickly, we are getting a message form your attackers. I will have a guard take your students to the armory so that if we are attacked after our talk, they can help." Karma nods, eats quickly, and follows Chi. They enter a conference like room and Chief Chi goes behind a big cherrywood desk. A hologram comes up of a person in a black cloak with the Separatist mark on the back. Karma pulls a chair around from infront of the desk and sits behind Chi. She has pulled on her Jedi cloak to cover her face from the man. She could see part of a scar on his chin that seemed to go farther up his face. Chief Chi says coldly, "Who are you and what are you doing here? My planet is not on many maps." The man looks at her, grins, and says, "I am here for the Jedi and her padawans that you are housing, I will leave your planet in peace if you give them to me." Chief Chi looks at him in disgust and says, "I will not be doing that, I have been told by her that you attacked them, which makes you my planet's enemy." The man chuckles and says, "You have 48 hours to give up the Jedi and her padawans. If you don't, you will not be around for what happens next." The hologram disappears with the faint sound of his chuckle in the air. Karma takes off the hood of her cloak and says, "Thank you. I don't know what I would do without you. You are an amazing friend." Chi smiles and then opens one of the drawers of her desk. She takes out a folded piece of paper. She turns to Karma, puts it in her hands and says, "I know you know your padawans are ready for their lightsabers, this will take you to a secluded part of the planet, you will go there tonight and your padawans will have to go in by themselves. You know that, right?" Karma says, "I know, and they would have had lightsabers a long time ago if I had known of a safe planet to find them. Thank you for this." Karma takes the paper and goes to inform her padawans of the events that have unfolded.
