A few days later...
Saturday, 1973
"Hey, Fred I'm here-" Maddie says as she walks through the door and sees the four boys in the living room talking.

"PRECIOUS BEAN" Freddie yells as he runs over to hug Maddie.

"SWEETHEART" John says standing up to run over to the girl as she holds her arms out to hug him.

"HEY, I WANTED TO HUG MY PRINCESS FIRST" Roger says quickly standing up to give Maddie a hug.

"WELL I SAW HER FIRST" John says causing The shy girl to roll her eyes.

"GUYS I WANTED TO HUG HER FIRST-I SAW HER WHEN THE DOOR OPENED." Brian says

"You guys are acting like children" Maddie says chuckling. "Anyways, I brought food." She says as she walked into the kitchen.

"YOU'RE SUCH A GODDESS THANK YOU." Freddie says as they all rush in the kitchen to where Maddie was.

"Oh Maddie darling, we are all going to the pub tonight if you wanted to come- I know you don't get out the house that much." Freddie says taking a bite of fried chicken. (Hehe, I hope you know my reference)

Maddie sighs and thinks for a slight second and she then gives Freddie a tight- lipped smile. "Yea, I'll come tonight." She says biting her lip. Today is Saturday, which means the boys, their girlfriends and Maddie spend the whole day together. They like to eat dinner together like a big family and then they would go to the pub and get drunk- which happens every Saturday night.

"So where's Veronica, Chrissie, Dominique, and Mary?" Maddie says furrowing her eyebrows while taking out the groceries and hot food out of bags.

"Oh they're on their way, they all went to the mall together." John says sipping his beer.

That hit Maddie right in the heart. She had been good friends with those four women, and she didn't even get asked if she wanted to go to the mall with them? Sometimes, Maddie feels like she's invisible to those people... even though they were all best friends. Maddie just shook her head a little to get out of her thoughts, and nodded her head at John.

"We're hereeee!" Dominique tells as she walks in the house with a bunch of shopping bags, with the other three girls following behind her. Maddie mentally rolled her eyes as she cuts up some potatoes.

"We got a whole bunch of stuff- even for you boys" Maddie hears Dominique chirp from behind her. Maddie mumbles a few words and she suddenly feels a sharp pain shoot through her hand.

"shit!" Maddie says bending down a little and grabbing her hand. She heard feet rushing towards her as she straightens up a little.

"PRECIOUS BEAN ARE YOU OK?! DO YOU NEED HELP?! BRIAN HELP THE GIRL YOUR A DOCTOR FOR FUCKS SAKE." Freddie yells

"FIRST OF ALL, IM NOT A DOCTOR, SECOND OF ALL, I AM STUDYING ASTROPHYSICS AND THIRD OF ALL, MADDIE ARE YOU OK?" Brian yells.

"OH MY GOD- THATS A HORRIBLE CUT" Roger yells as he takes Maddie's hand and examines it.

"NO SHIT SHERLOCK" Freddie yells as he turns to Roger to give him a look. Everyone was freaking out because Maddie sliced her hand with the sharp knife. She feels a hand grabbing her's softly and she looks up to see Brian taking her to the bathroom. The blood rushes to her cheeks as she feels his soft hand holding hers.

"Come sit down on the side of the bathtub" Brian says. Maddie nods and she carefully sits down on the side of the tub and watches Brian get a first aid kit out of the bathroom cabinet. He takes the kit and he sits beside the her and he takes some alcohol and a cotton ball.

"This is gonna sting a little- so I'm just warning you." He says in a gentle, voice looking at Maddie. Once the alcohol cover cotton ball came into contact with her skin, Maddie inhaled sharply.

"You alright?" Brian says throwing away the cotton ball.

"Y- yea it just stung a little." Maddie says quietly. Brian turns back to the kit and he takes out a bandage and he takes her hand in his and he wraps her hand up.

"Thank you Brian- you didn't have to do that." Maddie says looking at her hand.

"Well...I wanted to do that because I care about you." He says quietly and leaving out of the bathroom, leaving Maddie with a small smile on her lips.
