Liar

He kissed Maddie's lips with full of passion, but the thing is, she kissed him back. He slowly wrapped his arms around her waist and she cupped the back of his neck. He pulled her closer to him, as the kiss was getting heated, they both heard a voice that made them pull apart from each other.

"What the hell brian?!" Chrissies voice comes from behind Maddie. Brian pulls away from her and he goes up to chrissie.

"I- it's not what it looks like baby, I promise" Brian stuttered.

"Who the hell were you even all over anyway- Maddie?!" Chrissies says with her jaw dropped.

"I swear it's-" Maddie starts but then Chrissie is quick to shut her up.

"Shut it Maddie, I thought I could trust you!" She says getting close to my face.

"Trust?! You wanna talk about trust? I cant even trust you half of the time." Maddie says putting her hands up.

"Why is that" Chrissie says crossing her arms.

"Because I knew all along that you were using Brian for money Chrissie- The money. You don't even love the man and you know you don't love him." Maddie says while Chrissie looked like she had seen a ghost.

"You know, Brian- that man is a sweet, caring, loving and a gorgeous guy. He would do anything for anybody, and it's sad that you use him for money! It's ridiculous because I would love to be able to give him the love that he needs and deserves- but I couldn't do that because you were with him." Maddie says

"You know what- I'm done- with you Maddie, and with you Brian." She says walking away. Maddie slowly looked up at Brian and she saw Brian's face go through different emotions.

"S-She used me this whole time? F- for money?" Brian says with tears welding up in his eyes.

"Yea" Maddie faintly whispers, looking down at her feet.

"B- but that's s- something that she would never do" Brian makes eye contact with Maddie.

"Brian, I over heard her talking with Dominique- I don't want to make you even more upset so I'm not gonna say what she said to Dominique." Maddie says turning around to walk away, but Brian's strong grip on her waist turns her back around.

"Maddie, I don't care how much it hurts me, I- I just want to know the truth." Brian says, tears threatening to fall out of his beautiful, brown eyes.

"I- I was cleaning up around my house and Chrissie and Dominique were talking and I overheard Dominique ask Chrissie if she thinks y- you were gonna purpose to her anytime soon, and Chrissie said she didn't think so and she said if you asked her to marry you, she would've said no because she never...l-loved y-you." Maddie says.

"I- I cant believe she would say that- I was actually going to purpose to her t- tonight but thank god I didn't." Brian says.

"I'm so sorry brian" Maddie says taking his hands into hers.
"It's o-ok Mad, Thank you for telling me." Brian says softly caressing her cheek with the pad of his thumb. On the verge of sobbing, Brian grabbed Maddie's hands into his and he kissed them softly.

"I'm gonna go, I'll talk to you tomorrow love" He says, his voice wavering while letting go of her soft hands. He gave her a small, sad smile and he turned around and walked back into the pub. Maddie was then left alone outside thinking about how much she wanted and needed him in her life.
