AN:- Enjoy 🤭😉

Let me know if this is what you predicted happening in this chapter when you get to the end of it ... I wanna hear all of your thoughts on this.

"SeungHyun?!" I stood up in a dazed and frightful horrified shock, my eyes wide as I stared thunderstruck at his unsettling deadpanned expression.

His eyes flickered over to mine scowlingly for a brief second before looking away and resting onto TaeMin's sleeping face. An odd expression of discreet numbness gradually took over his facial structure, my eyes raptly following the harsh lines that made an appearance on his face as he took in the small child laying so weakly on the bed. He made a move to walk inwards into the room a little more; towards TaeMin to be more precise when I moved in the way and stood my body in between them as a barrier.

"What are you doing here?"

He rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Move out of my way."

"Ani." I shook my head. "I won't move out the way until you answer my question."

"I'm under no obligation to be held answerable by you."

I looked at him a little offended. "That doesn't excuse you just barging in here with no consent!"

He irritatedly moved his hair back from his peripheral vision. "I have every right to be here." He snapped. "I don't need permission."

"Said who?" I was enraged at his callousness more than anything else.

The fact that he was here was actually a blessing in disguise as it was the first time he would ever be face to face with one of his kids yet a horrid curse for me if this incident was ever found out about. I had lost so much and I couldn't bare to lose more, especially when and if it concerned my kids.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Me!?" I gaped at him incredulously, his sudden hostility throwing me off. "What's wrong with you more like?"

He took one step closer, all the while breathing heavily through his nose. "Move."

"No." I stood my ground, both his actions and his words feeling off to me.

"Move or I'll make you."

I crossed arms over my chest. "Get out."

He scoffed, a light laugh barking out his lips. "Who's gonna make me?"

"Leave before I call security."

He laughed out fully this time, throwing his head back and howling with amusement as he looked a dangerously mirthful at me.

I clenched my jaw adamantly, feeling a more than slightly wavered at his demeanor. "You have ten seconds."

He advanced scarily fast onto me, his arms hooking with utmost ease around my waist as he shifted my body to slide comfortably into his. "I'll be generous and give you those ten seconds instead to come to your senses before I really lose my shit at you."

"Why are you here?" I grappled out through my shocked mouth. "I don't understand why you would com-"

He sneered, callously cutting me off with a hushed whisper. "I don't answer to people who lie and deceive others."

I sucked in a hefty breath at his scathing comment, the blood rushing from my veins down to the soles of my feet at the insulting slap he had instigated so suddenly onto me.

"Why did you come here?" I repeated once more, struggling to keep my voice from shaking at the tremors he had evoked within me.

"For the same reason you did." He spat out, his eyes glaring lasers into my skull.

"Don't answer my questions in riddles."

"Isn't that what you always do every time I ask you something?" His voice was mocking as he looked amusedly down at the look of confusion that painted my face.

I bit my lip nervously. "Ani."

"Lie." He tutted at me, his hands on my waist tightening a slight simultaneously.

"Please leave."

He looked at me heavily. "Give me one good- no scratch that give me any of your pathetic excuses as to why I shouldn't be here."

I took in a shaky breath. "Why are you being so rude?"

He stared at my face, the ticks in his face only hardening the longer he looked down at me. "It's what you yourself have reduced me to."

"M-me?"

He rolled his eyes at my surprised expression, pushing me back abruptly out of his arms. His sudden movement left me off balance and I banged my hip on the side of the bed that TaeMin lay on, the harsh collision echoing in the deathly silent room.

"So this is what the blood of my veins looks like."

I had been about to speak when he beat me to it, his gaze trained solely on TaeMin. My mouth hung open in shock as I looked horrified his way.

"W-what...?!"

He glanced my way with a slow etched smirk on his angular jaw. "Blood." He repeated advancing on me again.

My heart raced as he accelerated in my direction, my feet shuffling backward without my even consciously realising it. His eyes glittered at the reaction he had provoked from me my saliva drying in my mouth as foggy understanding dawned upon me.

"Of my." His long sinewy arms caged me to the wall as he backed me into a corner, trapped wholly between his body and the cold surface behind me.

"Veins." This was uttered softly into my ears as his nose leaned down and brushed against the skin of my jaw, his eyes watching me closely as he held my trembling body against his.
