Ch.4

"I want ice cream mommy please." Kaylani whined I was not in the mood for her whining and crying this morning. Who wakes up and wants ice cream.
"I said no now eat your cereal." She pushes her bowl of cereal off the table onto the floor. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
"I want ice cream no cereal." She screamed I just looked at her it was no way someone could be this spoiled I couldn't have been like this when I was younger I mean Kalina wasn't like this.
"I said no." She threw her cup on the floor and started screaming louder. I picked my phone up and called Damien because I'll be damned if I have to deal with his spoiled ass daughter this morning.
"Where you at?" He dropped the kids off at school and daycare this morning.
"I just pulled up I'm parking the car now. Why is my daughter screaming?"
"Because I told her no she threw he cereal all over the floor Damien I'm going to pop her if you don't come get her." He hung up as the front door opened.

"Kaylani." He called as soon as he came in she stop screaming but was still crying as she ran to him.
"Daddy." She laid her head on his shoulder after he picked her up.
"What's wrong why are you crying?" He was rubbing her back soothing her this is the exact reason why she is like this.
"I-I want ice cream but mommy gave me cereal I don't want cereal daddy."
I was sweeping up her cereal good thing it wasn't milk in it.
"What kind of ice cream?"
Is he really serious right now he is about to give a three year old ice cream at 8 in the morning oh hell no.
"Are you serious Damien it's just 8 in the morning she is not getting ice cream this early."
I finished cleaning the cereal up.
"Why not its what she wants. Kaylani what kind strawberry vanilla or chocolate.?"
After I tell her no he goes and give her it this is why she is like this now.
"Damien I said no you can't just give her it after I tell her no that's why she like this throwing a damn tantrum at 8 in the morning over damn ice cream I said no she is not eating it."
"If my daughter wants something I'm going to give it to her she doesn't want cereal she wants ice cream let her have it Alexis damn."
I just walked away because at this point it's no telling him to say no to her.

"Is mommy mad daddy." Kaylani asks me wiping her tears.
"No princess but you can't keep giving mommy a hard time you have to be good for her okay." She nodded her head.
"What ice cream do you want?"
"I want the pink one daddy please." I scooped two scoops of strawberry ice cream in a bowl for her then I sat her in her chair at the table while I go check on Alexis.
"Did you really give her ice cream?" Alexis asked me as soon as I walked into the room.
"Yeah" I'm not about to say not to my child especially not my daughter.
"Damien after I tell her no you can't just say yes to her she can not keep throwing tantrums like that your not making it any better." I really don't see the problem if she just say yes to her then she won't throw the tantrums.
"She a baby Alexis let her have what she wants I give you everything you want I give all the kids everything they want."
"She's not a baby and your missing the point."
"She is a baby she only three if she wants ice cream baby girl just give it to her."
"Damien you missing the point I can't control her she to spoiled you have to stop it now before it gets worst."
"Alright I will I'll talk to her okay." She nodded head.

"Have you been taking your medicine?"
After everything that happen to Alexis after Marc they been monitoring her head a lot especially after she had Kaylani.
They gave her some medication to help her with headaches and to not have a seizure I guess from getting hit in the head so many times she had issues with it now.
"No I've been forgetting lately." She know she suppose to take her medicine.
"Alexis you can't be forgetting that medicine is important." She not even listening to me. "Alexis?"
"What Damien?" She sat down on the bed.
"Your head hurts?"
"Yes it just started out of no where." I went and grabbed her pills and handed it to her.
"Let me to get you some water." I ran downstairs to get her a bottle of water and to see if Kaylani was done eating her ice cream.
"I finish daddy." I picked her up so I can wipe her hands and mouth then grabbed Alexis a bottle of water.
"You need to say sorry to mommy because you were being bad for her."
"Okay." I grabbed her sippy cup and Alexis water bottle I picked Kaylani up and we headed upstairs.

"Here babygirl." I handed Alexis the bottle water and watch her take her pills I guess I'll have to remind her.
"I'm sorry mommy" Kaylani said to Alexis.
"It's okay mommy loves you still okay." I put her down and she ran to Alexis to hug her.
"I'm going to go shower when I'm done was can all lay down and watch tv." I didn't want to leave Alexis while her head was hurting I'll just go handle business later starting with that hoe Marie.
She starting shit with Alexis for no reason this is why you can't help hoes because they do dumb shit like this. She trying to cause drama in my relationship and I don't need that. I almost fucked up and cheated again on Alexis but I came to my senses just in time.
It was one night me and Alexis was going back and forth so I just left the house before things got out of hand.
I wind up getting drunk at the trap and she was there counting money one thing led to another but before it even got far I stopped and threw her out and went home.
I don't even know what I was thinking but good thing I stopped it because I'm pretty sure Alexis would have left me for good.
But ever since that she been telling people she slept with me and ion like that shit because now my wife knows and it's a lie and me and Alexis are good right now and I will like to keep it that way.
After a quick 15 minute shower I dried off and wrap my towel around me brushed my teeth and went to get dress. Alexis and Kaylani was both sleep already like damn y'all couldn't have been that tired. I put
some shorts and a tank top on and laid my ass down as well I was tired to.
