Poisoned

Heyo, Sorry for not updating for such a long time I've been really busy lately. If you see any grammar or spelling mistakes please let me know. Peter lives with Tony and the Avengers in this one while ay is on a 3-month business trip. I don't know anything about medical stuff so I made most of it up.

Peter's day started just like it always did. He woke up, went to school, and surprisingly had a very good day.

He got an A+ on his English project, Aced his math test and started working on a new science project with Ned, MJ and Flash.

All of these things led to him, of course, talking Happy's ear off on his way home. Happy pretended to be annoyed but he enjoyed Peter's stories a lot.

He finally arrived at the tower and said hello to the receptionists and anyone else he saw before heading up the elevator and greeting FRIDAY.

He went into the kitchen and made himself a quick snack before going to his room and finishing his homework. He was done an hour later and decided to go down to the lab with Mr. Stark and help him work on his new Ironman suit.

He got down there and both Peter and Tony started working on the Ironman suit forgetting that Peter had to go to school the next day.

It wasn't until both of them were practically falling asleep while standing up that they realized it was 7 in the morning.

Now most teenagers would use this as an excuse to get out of school for the day but of course, Peter was different. Even though he practically couldn't keep his eyes open he got ready for school and started walking.

Peter

On my way to school, I decided to stop by my favourite cafe and grab a coffee so that I would have even a tiny chance of making it through the day without falling asleep in every single one of my classes

I ordered my usual and decided to take a quick standing nap while it was being made. I opened my eyes when a heard my name and failed to notice the evil smirk the barista was giving me.

I drank my coffee on the way to school and was relieved when I could open my eyes all the way again.

I got to school and said a quick hello to Ned, MJ and Flash before we grabbed our stuff from our lockers and got to our first class which was science. My favourite!

We got to Mr. Smith's (very creative I know) class and started working on our science project which was due the next week.

About halfway through class, I started feeling weird. I was shivering, sweaty, lightheaded, and nauseous.

I sat back in my seat and Ned asked me "Dude are you okay?"

MJ and Flash looked concerned and Mj said "Yeah you don't look so good"

Somehow I managed to tell them that I was was fine but they didn't buy it of course.

Ned raised his hand and asked Mr. Smith if he could take me to the nurse.

Mr. Smith saw the state I was in and of course agreed. Ned grabbed my stuff and my arm while I weakly protested and told him I was fine.

We started walking to see the nurse when the world turned sideways and a weird shade of yellow

I vaguely heard Ned calling my name and realized that I was lying on the floor and felt my eyes start to slip closed.

Right before I blacked out I heard Karen tell me that Mr. Stark had been notified and was on his way.

Tony

I was listening to ACDC and finishing up the Ironman suit that Peter and I had stayed up all night working on when the music stopped.

I looked around furrowing my brow until I heard FRIDAY say " Sir, you have an incoming call from Karen"

I told her to pick up and started talking to who I assumed was Peter saying "Hey kid what's up? is everything okay?"

Then Karen told me "It appears that Peter consumed some windshield washer fluid in the coffee he was given this morning and is now suffering from the effects. He is currently unconscious"

By now I was panicking. I screamed at Bruce to get the medbay ready and flew to Peters school as quickly as I could.

When I got there I found Peter on the ground and his friend Ted trying to get him to wake up.

I picked Peter up and noticed that he was barely breathing. I flew back to the tower as fast as possible and took him straight to the medbay where Brice grabbed him and rolled him away.

I tried to follow but one of the Nurses stopped me

I stayed in the waiting room pacing and worrying about the only kid I had ever cared for until Bruce came back out looking tired but relieved

He told me that Peter had been poisoned but that he would recover fully in a few hours.

I asked him if I could see him and he said "I was just about to tell you that he wanted to see you"

I went into the room and saw Peter on the bed with an IV in his arm and looking super pale on the bed.

As soon as he saw me walk in, his face split into a huge grin.

"Hey Pete, Howya feeling?" I asked him

He laughed a little and responded "A lot better than I was before"

I smiled at him and told him he should get some rest and maybe not get coffee from that cafe again. He agreed and fell back asleep quickly while I vowed to make sure that whoever poisoned my k- er, the kid would pay for what he did.
